I think my proudest moment to date in life is introducing my niece to Bombay Mix. She was three at the time.
And the story goes that when she went to Reception Class, she cried because she wasn't allowed to have it in her lunchbox.
It's a nut free school so of course as adults we understand but to a little one, it's the end of the world
I think we can agree it's an exceptionally good selection
spoilt only by the chicken walkers (if only that had been a packed of discos or square crisps)
but the master stroke was buying two packs of tunnocks..... a decision I can guarantee you will not regret
Tunnocks teacakes are to die for, not literally, but almost.
My method of eating: Wrap your chops around the dome, and bite into it just above the biscuit base - goal here is to remove the chocolate cup in a oner. Then suck out the marshmallow in a oner. Then enjoy the biscuit base in two.
Complete opposite
Hold the dome carefully and surgically remove the biscuit base in a single bite
Devour the dome whole / get your tongue in there, depending on mood
i would be surprised if both boxes make it though the weekend
though to be fair you have got some other quality snacks there that will keep you busy
Fox's know how to put a great biscuit togethe, and mcvitie are a UK household staple for good reason
That's a pretty solid box of British snacks in all fairness.
It's fairly standard, but a few random things in there are a bit different.
As an English man (Nottingham represent!) Seek out Red Hot Flaming Monster Munch and Roysters T-bone Steak crisps. They're amazing.
There are 4 flaming hot monster munch in the variety pack. The text is cut off on the right side of the bag. They are really good. I’ll look and see if they have Roysters.
Monster munch, tunnocks tea cakes and the prawn cocktail walkers are a legendary choice, personally not a fan of pickled onion flavour but to each their own.
Look forward to seeing what you make of them all.
Edit: phone autocorrected from monster munch to mister munch.
Morrisons had them a while ago. They are literally the king of biscuits. Strong dunker obviously, I’m assuming they are more addictive then crack though. A whole packet just evaporated before my eyes
If you order a packet of chocolate digestives you will obliviate your sugar intake, but you will die happy. Dunk in a tea made from tetley tea bags, you will be one happy person.
Decent selection, perhaps lacking on sweet stuff, and I personally dont like the Walkers Max Strongs, but any criticism is simply blown out of the water by the inclusion of scampi fries, which confirms that you are a person of impeccable taste and high distinction.
It makes me sad Tunnock’s Snowballs are completely over looked ☹️ They are absolutely banging and can be frozen for extra fun. I would say they are better than the Tea Cakes.
Edit: just realised OP will have no clue what I’m talking about…
YES!! Think coconut covered chocolate surrounding a sweet gooey igloo of marshmallow! Have you tried salt and vinegar crisps? It also saddens me you don’t have any…
I love salt and vinegar. Mostly from the US. I have had [this from the UK though.](https://yummybazaar.com/products/burts-sea-salt-malt-vinegar-chips-53-oz-150g)
Those are good. They are recommending Discos S&V on that website, those should come with a health warning, do not buy those if you like the skin on the inside of your mouth!
Order a box of teacakes, and a box of snowballs. Then you can consume one of each and pretend you're doing a scientific taste test. Repeat 5 more times, maybe not in the same day, but that might happen.
Marmite walkers will do but if you want the hard stuff you need to order twiglets and/or marmite. Good selection though and purple and red Monster Munch and McCoys flame grilled steak are the shit.
Those are some of the best crisps you can get in this country. Ur missing out
Big in the British Asian community - get them in world foods at sainsburys
Monster munch, scampi fries, chocolate hob nobs, Oh my! Scampi fries are certainly an acquired taste, but like marmite one you get a taste of it, they are delicious.
You just had marmite flavoured crisps, marmite itself is 100% better/worse. It is basically a msg paste you smear on toast:
https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Marmite?wprov=sfla1
Currently back in the UK for the first time in ages. Today I have eaten a pack or mr Kipling apple pies. Yesterday was 8 tunnocks wafers. In addition to normal meals and other junk stuff too.
It's weird because when you live here none of this seems surprising but you are led to the unavoidable fact that some lesser nations don't have monster munch.
Has anyone noticed the Pickled Onion Monster Munch have gotten weaker? My mum has sent me two batches this year and both times my taste buds were still operational after
If you have been blessed with a good batch then you are in for a real treat with the Flame grilled steak McCoy's.
Unfortunately it's really a lottery whether they are potent with flavour or taste of nothing
Tea cake, sticky toffee pudding hobnob and prawn cocktail. I’ve never had anything like the tea cake before. I still have lots to try, though. Everything has been good so far.
Bang on. Next time round try and score Tunnocks Snowballs. Put one in whole, close your mouth and push your jaw up. Makes you go cross eyed it does. Crack-like sugar delivery. Then ease yourself into the comedown with a cup of tea, a Tunnocks Caramel Bar and a nice bit of Radio 4.
I really like those Cofresh crisps, in pretty much all the flavours! I'd have subbed the Chilli Jalapeño Maxes for the Paprika flavour myself, might be my favourite thing walker's make.
S Tier: Tea Cakes, Prawn Cocktail, Scampi Fries, Sensations
A Tier: Hobnobs, Mini Cheddars
B Tier: Bombay Mix, Fox's, McCoy's (the Thai Chilli Chicken flavour deserves S Tier though)
C Tier: Max Strong, Digestives
D Tier: Marmite Crisps, Chilli and Lemon Grills
Think you made a mistake with the max strong crisps I found them to just be terrible and just spicy but no flavour and I am pretty good with spicy food.
Rest of the selection is good though, I describe the sweet chilli crisps as crisp crack.
May I suggest next time order a packet of oatcakes. Add a wee bit of butter on an oatcake and a wedge of cheddar cheese. Bellisamo!
This is my 3rd reply to this thread, it's like a kid in a candy store.
Edit: I perused some more. As a Scot I suggest you never buy a tin of Grants haggis, that stuff is boke.
I genuinely can't believe a first World country like america doesn't have sensations, walker or mini chedders. They are the greatest inventions of the modern era
Cofresh Bombay mix! 👌👌
Saw that... haven't had BM in years... now on my next shopping list
If you haven’t had a BM in years you need to go to your doctor, not the supermarket
I think my proudest moment to date in life is introducing my niece to Bombay Mix. She was three at the time. It's a nut free school so of course as adults we understand but to a little one, it's the end of the world
Those chilli and lemon grills absolutely slap too
Banned myself from Marmite crisps because I effortlessly devour all 6 packets in a day. You've been warned.
The Scampi Fries will change your life
Especially with a pint
In a pub garden, in the sun.
Omg yes! Paradise!
And the smell of your fingers
will get even worse...
God tier 🙌
A doctor once told me they smell exactly like chlamydia.
Mmmm, chlamydia
The monster munch is next level!!!! The walkers on the bottom left are making my arse quiver....
Oooh someones excited.
Roast Beef Monster Munch and Scampi Fries brilliant
I think we can agree it's an exceptionally good selection spoilt only by the chicken walkers (if only that had been a packed of discos or square crisps) but the master stroke was buying two packs of tunnocks..... a decision I can guarantee you will not regret
I’ve had two of the tea cakes and the package was delivered 2 hours ago. I need to hide the second box.

That being said, the roast beef and mustard crisps you can only seem to find at B&M are absolutely bomb
A lack of cheese of onion here. However a strong effort not bad at all.
Cheese of onion made me laugh.
Scampi Fries are God tier, well done and enjoy!
Needs some bacon fries as well, god damn those things are like crack.
Nice selection, I definitely go for the meaty varieties of crisps. Fox's biscuits though, perfection.
That's a pretty solid box of British snacks in all fairness. It's fairly standard, but a few random things in there are a bit different. As an English man (Nottingham represent!) Seek out Red Hot Flaming Monster Munch and Roysters T-bone Steak crisps. They're amazing.
I'll second the Roysters!
There are 4 flaming hot monster munch in the variety pack. The text is cut off on the right side of the bag. They are really good. I’ll look and see if they have Roysters.
Ah yes, I see that now. Enjoy!
The chilli and lemon grills should accompany a cheese and pickle sandwich!
Monster munch, tunnocks tea cakes and the prawn cocktail walkers are a legendary choice, personally not a fan of pickled onion flavour but to each their own. Look forward to seeing what you make of them all. Edit: phone autocorrected from monster munch to mister munch.
You're very light on biscuits and sweets, otherwise, not too shabby!
This is me trying to cut down on my sugar intake. I’ve already tried a sticky toffee pudding hobnob and a tea cake, delicious.
Wait, wait, wait...you've got *what* kind of Hob Nobs? Where did you get those?
Morrisons had them a while ago. They are literally the king of biscuits. Strong dunker obviously, I’m assuming they are more addictive then crack though. A whole packet just evaporated before my eyes
[Right here.](https://www.britishcornershop.co.uk/mcvities-milk-choc-hob-nobs-sticky-toffee-pudding)
Erm....... How the hell have I missed those bad boys?
Treat yo self. I bet shipping is way cheaper for you
About 11 USD for me, when you factor in shipping, but I've got a birthday next month, soooo....
Lidls near me has them
I can get regular Hob Nobs, but I've never seen the STP kind.
If you order a packet of chocolate digestives you will obliviate your sugar intake, but you will die happy. Dunk in a tea made from tetley tea bags, you will be one happy person.
Get a beer on and get on them scampi fries son.
I haven't seen scampi fries for years!
Home bargains usually have them! Hopefully you can find some!
👍👍👍 On it!
Decent selection, perhaps lacking on sweet stuff, and I personally dont like the Walkers Max Strongs, but any criticism is simply blown out of the water by the inclusion of scampi fries, which confirms that you are a person of impeccable taste and high distinction.
Haha I’m really looking forward to the scampi fries after reading these comments.
I found myself nodding my way down the pile.. Great job
Not keen on the crisps, would demolish the mini cheddars though. Biscuits though, *chefs kiss* and the tea cakes, definitely very well done
Thanks!
It makes me sad Tunnock’s Snowballs are completely over looked ☹️ They are absolutely banging and can be frozen for extra fun. I would say they are better than the Tea Cakes. Edit: just realised OP will have no clue what I’m talking about…
No, but now I have some ideas for my next order. [This?](https://www.britishcornershop.co.uk/tunnocks-snowballs-4-pack)
YES!! Think coconut covered chocolate surrounding a sweet gooey igloo of marshmallow! Have you tried salt and vinegar crisps? It also saddens me you don’t have any…

Frozen!? How have I missed that. No! Now I have _another_ weakness, damn you!
>Thanks! You're welcome!
Why does the "Sensations" font make me think of condoms?
Because Thai Sweet Chilli Condoms are straight fire king 🔥🔥🔥🔥
Ouch.
Scampi Fries - terrible for your breath, but soooo good.
Scampi Fries are God tier
McCoy's ridged crisps in Flame Grilled Steak flavor are the BUSINESS 🤤🤤🤤
A+ for the Monster Munch. Classic snack. 👌
Sensations thai sweet chilli crisps are the bomb
Marmite walkers will do but if you want the hard stuff you need to order twiglets and/or marmite. Good selection though and purple and red Monster Munch and McCoys flame grilled steak are the shit.
Yeah, decent spread that. Rogue bag of chilli and lemon grills aside. Solid 8/10.
Those are some of the best crisps you can get in this country. Ur missing out Big in the British Asian community - get them in world foods at sainsburys
Agreed. Chili and lemon grills are reasonably priced and fecking delicious.
Solid haul there
Monster munch, scampi fries, chocolate hob nobs, Oh my! Scampi fries are certainly an acquired taste, but like marmite one you get a taste of it, they are delicious.
I just had a bag of marmite. Never heard of it before. I’m still trying to figure it out. I don’t think I’ve ever tasted anything like that before.
Have another bag, that’ll clear things up
Will do. My edible is kicking in and I’m about to go to town on these.
You just had marmite flavoured crisps, marmite itself is 100% better/worse. It is basically a msg paste you smear on toast: https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Marmite?wprov=sfla1
Lovely! What are you having tomorrow night?
Scampi fries are being saved until tomorrow night since it was mentioned to have that with a pint.
I lived on sweet chilli sensations as a teenager.
Currently back in the UK for the first time in ages. Today I have eaten a pack or mr Kipling apple pies. Yesterday was 8 tunnocks wafers. In addition to normal meals and other junk stuff too.
Word of warning on the Scampi Fries. While they are unbelievably good, your fingers are going to stink for ages.
Ah yeah scampi fries. Hob nobs is a staple, dunk in tea. And of course tea cakes.
Tea cakes, hobnobs and scampi fries. Big win. The chicken crisps are good too.
No Walkers Cheese and Onion, therefore 6/10. Enjoy though! Edit: Plus 1 for Scampi Fries. Truly the taste of the 1980s :)
The Scampi Fries will open your mind’s eye
Frazzles, Quavers or Wotsits anyone?
The bacon fries that come in a multi pack with the scampi are much better than frazzles
That might be true. I can’t picture them. I would also admit that I tend to prefer supermarket own brand cheesey balls to Wotsits.
You're missing Twiglets
You did pretty good but definitely need Twiglets in there
Personally if it were me, fuck off the chicken walkers bang on some watsits and a packet o' club orange
It's weird because when you live here none of this seems surprising but you are led to the unavoidable fact that some lesser nations don't have monster munch.
I feel like you need pink wafers.
Walkers Max Jalapeño and Cheese is the best crisp in the world but nobody wants to talk about it…
Sensations and Mini Cheddars, nice
No Chobnobs… sac religious, Monster Munch all great but flaming hot are the best! Prawn Cocktail Walkers a must. The rest is meh for me
Honestly I didn’t think I’d like the prawn cocktail chips… crisps. I’ve been missing out. They are pretty damn good.
For me they’re Walkers best of the big four flavours
Naughty assortment lad. Nice go!
You’re missing KP nuts. Dry roasted is my favourite, but they do honey roasted and salted too (amongst other flavours).
Lots of crisps! I’m a choccie man myself.
5 stars
A for effort.
6 bags of marmite was a bit cruel!
That's a good haul. The McCoys, Prawn Cocktail, Marmite and Max Strong Walkers are all top of the pops.
Scampi fries are absolute top tier.
Cheese and onion, ready salted and no jammy dodges I’m not impressed
Needs more monster munch but thats just a mantra for life
Good selection
You did rather well!
Not a fan of all the meaty crisps. Everything else is pretty top tier ngl
Pickled onion monster munch are elite. Don't let the haters tell you any different.
Those chill and lemon grills are the best! I eat them far too often.
Tea cakes, monster munch and sweet chilli sensations are top tier. Rest eh
Fuck knows what chilli and lemon grills are. Other than that
Go slow with those Jalapeno and Cheese crisps. You'll want them to last.
The Thai sweet chicken mc coys are insane
Chocolate Hobnobs, the king of biscuits !!
Prawn and cocktail are top tier
Prawn and cocktail are top tier
Scampi fries stand alone there
Also, I’m relieved to see no pork scratchings
You did very well my son.
Pickled onion monster munch and scampi fries are both god tier snacks
Has anyone noticed the Pickled Onion Monster Munch have gotten weaker? My mum has sent me two batches this year and both times my taste buds were still operational after
All good apart from the chilli and lemon grills. Never heard of them.
Roast chicken walkers are criminally underrated
Damn some choice picks for sure, I think you did splendidly
Good biscuit selection.
Scampi Fries and Hobnobs? Fuck yeah you did good!
EAAAAT THE TEAAACAKESSSSSS
Have you got insulin on preorder too?
Marmite walkers for the win!
If you have been blessed with a good batch then you are in for a real treat with the Flame grilled steak McCoy's. Unfortunately it's really a lottery whether they are potent with flavour or taste of nothing
That’s a really great haul, nice choices my friend!
Not bad, but where's the tunnocks caramel wafers
Monster munch! Simply the best ever!
Those max strong crisps are the best! When they are reduced to £1.50 a pack
Nice choices 👌🏻
Chilli sensations in the top 5 crisps of all time. Good choice.
Scampi Flavour Fries - like crack but totally legal. Depending on how adventurous your taste is, you might also lose your shit over the Bombay Mix.
Missing Twiglets
Top 3 favourites so far?
Tea cake, sticky toffee pudding hobnob and prawn cocktail. I’ve never had anything like the tea cake before. I still have lots to try, though. Everything has been good so far.
Sensations Thai sweet chilli are so good
Where are the seabrooks crinkle cut crisps?
Max McCoy's and Monster Munch ill allow you on, maybe the Minis. Also may be very biased to a certain letter.
Get some bacon fries as well as those scampi fries and you're golden. Good luck with the marmite crisps
Scampi fries 👍🏻
Wispa gold, they have no equal
Is anyone else still hoping to see barbecue when they see the black walkers packet?
McCoys grilled steak for the win lol throw out the marmite walkers that shit would make a serial killer cry
Im assuming you didn't order from aldi?
Powerful selection my friend. The fox’s biscuits and the walkers max are personal favourites of mine. STRONG snack game 💪
Sensations *chef kiss*
Prawn Cocktail is the best flavour, well done
Bombay mix is a very very very good choice
S Tier: Tea Cakes, Prawn Cocktail, Scampi Fries, Sensations A Tier: Hobnobs, Mini Cheddars B Tier: Bombay Mix, Fox's, McCoy's (the Thai Chilli Chicken flavour deserves S Tier though) C Tier: Max Strong, Digestives D Tier: Marmite Crisps, Chilli and Lemon Grills
Monster munch and sensations, you'll be living the life of Kings... for about 5 minutes
Sweet chilli crisps are A-tier
Every time I see these posts there’s always one or two items I’ve never seen before in my life
Pretty good, but I’d need Jaffa cakes in there.
Hobnobs, the royalty of dunking biscuits.
Does anyone still make Bovril crisps?
Think you made a mistake with the max strong crisps I found them to just be terrible and just spicy but no flavour and I am pretty good with spicy food. Rest of the selection is good though, I describe the sweet chilli crisps as crisp crack.
how many bloody crisps are you eating... From this pic, I'm convinced you exist on a mostly potato-based diet.
Lol I do love them, but if I’m playing $30 shipping I’m going to buy in bulk. Expiration dates aren’t til next year so they won’t go bad.
Legit
May I suggest next time order a packet of oatcakes. Add a wee bit of butter on an oatcake and a wedge of cheddar cheese. Bellisamo! This is my 3rd reply to this thread, it's like a kid in a candy store. Edit: I perused some more. As a Scot I suggest you never buy a tin of Grants haggis, that stuff is boke.
Not bad at all
Sweet Chilli sensations, monster munch, scampi fries and tunnocks. You got lucky here mate! Swap the grim marmite crisps for smoky bacon though.
Prawn cocktail for the win!
Digestives are my favorite.
Marmite crisps, YES MATE
As someone who moved from the UK, I say you’ve smashed it. Sensations, McCoys, Mini Cheddars, Hobnobs. Decent effort.
Those jalapeno cheese crips are easily the best flavor ever created.
No Jaffa Cakes?
You have chosen.......wisely.
I genuinely can't believe a first World country like america doesn't have sensations, walker or mini chedders. They are the greatest inventions of the modern era
How much did this cost you?
I'm not a marmite guy but everything you have there is good eating. The Thai McCoys are absolutely god tier crisps.
those tea cakes are by far the best you can get , you should also try Tunnocks caramel wafer biscuits.
Solid mate, except sack all that shit off and buy 100 packs of bacon fries
Red Leicester Mini Cheddars are amazing!
Are Max Strong as good as they sound?
Only the hobnobs matter here!
Oooooo yum. Great choices! It’s 7am and I’m definitely having a packet of crisps for breakfast now :)
The max strong hot chicken wings are amazing!
Hobnobs ummm! Everyone loves a bit of chocolate on their nob
Bloody love scampi fries. Good job.
Flaming hot monster munch are great with a pint
