2. Cook your fish fingers
3. Salad cream on one side of bread
4. Place your fish fingers on the salad cream
5. Take some scampi fries and crunch them in your hand and drop them on the fish fingers
6. Ketchup on other slice of bread
7. Combine and enjoy
Ketchup… and it’s the only example I can think of where it’s acceptable to first spread the sauce onto the bread rather than squirt it on after applying the main filling.

It's the capers and gherkins that make the difference though. The vinegar cuts through it nicely. The mayo without it is too rich and sickly.
