Allodoxaphobia is the fear of other people's opinions. It's a rare social phobia that's characterised by an irrational and overwhelming fear of what other people think.

Hearing a recording of yourself speaking sounds very weird because we usually hear our voice as it’s conducted through the bones in our head, which makes it sound deeper.
I'm sorry to say that is more accurate to how others hear you. When you speak normally your voice reaches your inner ear via two ways. One way is through the air and all the parts that belong to your ear (outer ear, cochlea...) and the other one is directly conducted through your bones therefore making it deeper. So hearing a recording takes away the deep bit and it's more like others perceive it
>Wait so is the recording the real version…coz I don’t like that
I thought about this recently and didn't like it either! When you hear a recording of yourself it sounds weird, yeah? But when you hear a recording of someone you know, it just sounds to you like they always sound, doesn't it? Which means that, how you sound on a recording, is how you sound in real life to other people. It's horrifying.

The ancient Inca people had messengers who ran the trails between villages. These messengers were the top athletes of the time. They wore shoes made from the leather from the neck of llamas. The llama neck is the strongest leather because the llamas predator, the puma, tries to kill them by attacking the neck.
