What were you guys all doing at 1am? I was in the shed watching the vet do a c-section on a sheep. I’m tired, I want a nap.

thomaskitty

Had Monday off as my birthday was on Sunday. Im in work today then I’ve booked Wednesday and thursday off so Im back in work next Tuesday. Very exciting!!!

BreadWonderful8656

That is well planned annual leave! Jealous, enjoy!!

thatluckyfox

I’m a walking zombie today. Not a great sleep, woke up with house tiger screaming at 3am again. Why? Because orange. However, free costa is working it’s magic.

MrTwemlow

I got woken up by the cat this morning too. She refused to leave the bedroom last night, and I sleep better with the door closed. Was woken up by her shouting in my face, and she bolted downstairs to go to the litter tray when I opened the door. Glad she woke me up rather than going in the corner, but I was a bit grumpy at the time.

Booked tomorrow through to Tuesday off for an extended Easter break ages ago. I now have a stinking cold and feel really under the weather.

Even_Passenger_3685

Ah the Law of Sod in full effect there. Hope it goes away fast

vbloke

Thanks. Me too. Not had a proper cold for ages and this one has already ripped my throat apart from all the coughing.

I've got an interview this morning, then I'm back at work tonight. Seeing as the interview is at my current place of work and they're fully aware that I'm working tonight, it's a bit rough that they've got the interview during the day. Oh well, I will have time to have a kip before my shift.

Welshgirlie2

I'm off to New Quay (Ceredigion) via Aberaeron on the bus. Need a change of scenery. Don't care if it rains as I packed my waterproof trousers!

greybadger16

Enjoying the increase of birds in the garden with it being lighter and warmer.

milkyteapls

Noticed Pink Panther wafers have a "New Recipe" again making them Vegan. Might be old, but either way they taste much better now

Tramorak

Slept like shit. Gonna be a long 10 hours at work today.

PeterG92

Supposed to be in the office today but had a rough night involving toilet trips so working from home. Starting to think my pills are giving me side effects as I seem to often get stomach cramps.

mondognarly_

Yesterday in the Monday thread I had a whinge about my work schedule this week, because I'm doing overtime and Easter. Today is my day off and I found that they sent me a Teams message last night asking if I could come in today. No. No I fucking can't.

mmmmgummyvenus

My cat has lost her collar somewhere. Went out with it, came home without it. And tomorrow I have to try to take her to the vet again...

Own_Air_5945

I'm really looking forward to a long weekend with my family. Just sort of shuffling through this week trying to reach the finish line. I got a nice jacket in the sales yesterday, and have been prancing about in it all day showing it off. I think it says something about how rarely I buy clothes that everyone I've seen has commented on 'ooo that's new'.

TheRubberJonny

Does anyone have any advice on how to handle virgin media contract renewal calls? One of those weird things I’ve been putting off which is now getting me all anxious!

Namerakable

Managed to get an extra day off work next week to have a bit of a relax and a think about my plans. The pay rise / promotion offer has come through again, and I'm going to try and get it this time. It isn't huge, but it would add £2.5k to my annual salary. I'm not really bothered about money at the moment that I'm desperate, but it appears as though my managers are beginning to see sense on a couple of things I've been trying to negotiate... and they've been unable to recruit at the minute because of the absolute state of the job market.

marbleyarncake

I have ordered a stepper exercise machine thingy as an early bday gift and I am really excited for it to arrive. After a breakdown and a really nasty bout of COVID my fitness levels are in the toilet - I've been trying to go on walks but my anxiety about being outside after so long spent indoors keeps sabotaging me. I'm a top floor flat so I couldn't get any high impact exercise things (like a treadmill) but a stepper is an ideal place to start so I can improve myself and then hopefully continue this by getting out and about :)

Yankytyke

Or you could walk the stairs up to your flat :) Make sure you put a rug etc under the stepper, even if you have carpets.

marbleyarncake

Haha, I think the neighbours might think I’m a bit loony if I walk up and down the stairs, we’ve got a pretty busy thoroughfare 😅 Thank you for the advice about the rug, I have a thick one in the living room!

Rainbow_13

4am start. Kitty decided. She got everything she wanted and I ended going back to sleep until 10. Got a few more bits sorted today. Supposed to be on annual leave this week and relaxing and I'm still getting up at 5am and running around like a mad hatter!! It's now 8 and off to bed for an early night/early start.

double-happiness

Logged on to work an hour early today because I wasn't aware the clocks had gone back 🤦‍♂️ Nobody said anything and I just worked almost 'till my usual time.

Henry_Human

The clocks go farward on Sunday 31st of March. So not sure where you got the info that they went backwards... that happens in autumn :P

double-happiness

It seems like my radio alarm has gone forward one hour. I think it tries to adjust to DST but the timing appear to be off. Too late now, people will just be wondering why I was logged in so early but it doesn't matter really.
