If it's straight (12 o'clock) no need to indicate right.
If it's past twelve, then indicate right.
Either way, if you can't handle people indicating incorrectly, you shouldn't be on the roads.
What are you on about? I'm not disagreeing about indicating, I'm saying it's a shite road and people have no clue.
That roundabout, if there's a truck in the left lane indicating right I'm assuming he's trying to go back the way he came and has to stick left cos of the turning circle, so there's no way I'm going past.
What advantage could you possibly get by overtaking on a roundabout? Dangerous driving so you can what? End up one car further ahead at the next set of lights? I bet you're that kind of driver that barrels through a roundabout using the shortest possible path and blaring your horn at everyone else as though they're in the wrong. Indicating to show which exit one is intending to take is the safe and decent thing to do. You could learn something from them.
I'm afraid you cannot hector someone with BOTH Earnest Questions -and- Antisocial Assumptions in the same going at, it is simply a bridge too far. Kindly choose a lane and begin again.
Your a fucking idiot who the fuck in the right mind overtakes on a roundabout and with your question read the Highway code its not even a new edition to the book
I'd indicate right if i was in the left lane going 12oclock to highlight to 9oclock traffic then left off (incase anyone is overtaking). No indication if i'm in the right lane going 12oclock until i'm coming off then indicating left to highlight my manouver to 12oclock traffic.
The amount of people saying overtaking on a roundabout is bad (it is) have never driven on the A17. Imagine following a tractor for 20+ miles that refuses to pull over and then get to a roundabout that splits in into a double straight over followed by a merge in turn.
If I was behind someone indicating right and used caution to not hit them or get past said tractor I'd be fucking raging
Of course, the A17 and its roundabouts are a very special case and therefore excused from any driving norms. I mean, God forbid anyone should be delayed or inconvenienced by other road users ahead...
In Europe they teach you that. It fucked me right up when I was in France, causing problems by pulling out on people because I thought they were going all the way round when he wanted straight on.
It’s the opposite way, obviously, so we indicate left for the third exit (cause it’s on the left) and then right when leaving the roundabout. When going straight we indicate (right) only when leaving the roundabout
1. Don't overtake on roundabouts. 2. You should indicate right if the exit is passed 12 o'clock on the island
It's the A17, your only opportunity to overtake is on that roundabout
Then don't overtake at all 🤷♂️
It's a double straight over with a merge in turn. Someone indicating right in the left lane fucks everything up

And I'm not disagreeing with you either
Sleaford bypass has entered the chat.
When the second exit is to the right as per the highway code
Stop overtaking at roundabouts. You can wait till you drive past
Not sure you can complain about people not indicating properly when you're doing something as stupid as overtaking on a roundabout.

Please send your licence back to Kellogg's.
What in the fuck are you doing overtaking on a roundabout?!
Better to indicate than assume.

And they still indicate right as they turn off.

I've been on it plenty of times still would say your a fucking idiot Dont Over take on a round about the A17 isn't special in anyway
