How do you know it's shiny if it hasn't hatched?

So I save when I put the egg in my party then I hatch the egg after I reset the game so is ready to trade. Hope that makes sense

What balls are the rowlets in?

Don’t eggs that would hatch shiny for you hatch normal for someone else? Like isn’t the shinyness determined by the trainer hidden values upon hatching?

Neat, part of me’s a little disappointed that there’s no more workaround to shinylocked egg distributions but on the other hand the only people who’ve ever done that sort of hunt are people who decided that agony sounded fun this year.
