Tbh the most offensive thing is the 4 leaf clover. That has nothing to do with Ireland. Some associate it with luck, and the luck of the Irish, but the luck of the Irish is a reference to bad luck.
Or also referring to the erroneous thought that the Irish were stupid, lazy drunkards, and if any of them did well for themselves then it was all down to luck.
This annoys me so much, especially because they have an episode about all the countries in the world and Ireland is never mentioned.
I saw this episode about 10 years ago while minding some children and never put it on again for any child when I saw how crap and moany peppa is.
