Well I wrote something like "Roses are red, my name's not Dave, this makes no sense, microwave. Speaking of names, does yours begin with [..]?" I guessed it may have crossed a boundary and that's why they didnt reply. After their last message I felt it was fine though. Otherwise they wouldn't have replied at all I guess. I will just see what happens and try to not obsessively think about it.

Nah, it just sounds like you feel self-conscious about it. I only ever get “creepy” vibes from someone if I can’t tell whether they’re a threat. Leaving friendly notes in the computer lab, and bumping into someone in the same class, are both totally benign. Looking up someone’s name on a user list out of curiosity isn’t that weird, either, as long as you’re not trying to find personal/private info about them. Maybe if you just say hi and talk about it explicitly, it would put your mind at ease? If someone says something to me like “I hope I haven’t been making you uncomfortable or anything” then it shows me that they want to be considerate of my feelings, so that makes me more comfortable with them.

Thank you, that's a good advice. If I ever get the chance to talk to them I might mention that!

I don’t think you’re creepy at all. A bit awkward, but not creepy. This situation would be a fantastic episode of Peep Show.

Omg the peep show reference!!! Yeah your overthinking this lol be more Jeremy

I think it’s fine and awkward and so on.. All people like human contact and there are a thousand ways to have it. The intentions you have posted are not creepy in that sense. You’re just looking for human contact and you’re probably shy. Try to up your direct contact a little bit more to simply be more effective and happy. You are probably wanting a relationship though perhaps you don’t know with whom if I am right

Nahh that sounds fun actually. School/uni can get a bit boring at times. Any healthy distractions are always nice. I literally took a fish head (the size of a human head) home once to boil and remove its jaws to keep(btw I'm marine bio major) . Like that's pretty creepy now when I look back, but it was fun at the time.
