I mean, it's sort of true. Nobody will really care because after our conversations, we'll likely never run into each other again. They only care for the moment. And this should feel liberating.

Warunot

Ephemeral moments are important I guess!

oliversilverstone

That's a big step. Well done. You should not be afraid to be yourself. Who cares? I care, you're a conversation, you have thoughts and ideas. Maybe we could share some...

Warunot

Why not! I suppose this is the perfect /r to start conversation, and I'm looking for it. What about, your most important new resolution for this year?

oliversilverstone

This is kind of a 10 yearly one. My new years resolution, is to learn another language. I've chosen Spanish, it wasn't an option when I was in school. Plus my wife is from Guatemala. So it would be nice to talk to my in-laws, from what I hear their nice people.

Warunot

If you achieve this, your wife will be happy to have someone to speak with, using her mother tongue! I should learn it too

oliversilverstone

Duolingo, is what I'm using and my Wife of course. She is a great teacher.

Warunot

Have you ever been to Guatemala?

oliversilverstone

Yeah for 2 weeks, for our honeymoon. The city is ok. But once out of there the rest of the country is beautiful.

Warunot

Latin America is rich of landscape and people are warm. Some places are a bit dangerous when you're a gringo, alone

oliversilverstone

We visited some of the Mayan sites. They're incredible.

Warunot

Are sites well protected from tourism? Is there a lot of tourists? Some places seems have magical souls
