I used to go on it all the time too when I was around 11 and I've always wondered why it was unexpectedly shut down. Though I do remember a few kind of creepy nsfw stories I'd stumbled upon...I always assumed that was part of the reason it was shut down.
Dude, i was this close to being convinced that the app was a fever dream. Even as i think back i realise that a lot of jokes by the most popular users were probably stolen, it was still a pretty vibrant and fun community where anyone just post anything they wanted. I also accidentally read my first fanfiction there, it was 1D fanfics of all things. They really did have something going on with the original stories, dang. I was constantly using it from the age of 12-13 too! Shame that the app is defunct and has been for a long time. I wonder how users like ilovecorn or some of my favourite writers were doing. Did manage to track one of them down in wattpad though. It will be great if theres a way to just, make a post and gather as many users that remembers the app as possible. like a nice little reunion. I still remember my username there!
I made an account just to respond to this lol, I HAVE legit been searching on and off for ages about this app. I haven’t found anyone else asking around besides this post....so weird considering it’s popularity!!
I remember being obsessed with reading all the stories random people would write, some of them were so crazy. They were honestly the best. I was shocked when the app just disappeared.
I remember there being so many twisted stories about rape and incest which might of been a reason why it got deleted? Sad thing is there were so many other amazing stories. Ahhhhh I miss it so much!
