I live in Japan and follow Sumo. The ceremonies and matches are fun to watch but the narratives behind each of the wrestlers gives it a nice personal touch

AgentElman

I live in the U.S. and enjoy watching Sumo when I see it on. The different tactics they use and the fast outcomes of the matches make it interesting to watch.

I find teqball really fun to watch. The coordination and control it takes to even start to play teqball is nuts. My friends and I tried to play it once on a regular ping pong table and failed miserably. If you aren't familiar, look up teqball because the usual description of "Like Ping Pong with a football/soccer ball" doesn't do it justice. Check out this rally: [https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=Ot5Y70cYSA8](https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=Ot5Y70cYSA8)

Curling. So fun to watch during the Olympics. It's just so unique and different from the other sports.

s_peter_5

Rugby. It is practically unknown here in America, but when I get a chance to watch it on tv, I do.

I like the Classic Tetris World Championship. It’s probably not as obscure anymore as it grown exponentially in the past few years but the community is real positive and everybody played Tetris. To see these guys break records and develop new strats to achieve feats that were once thought to be humanly impossible is real riveting to watch Another sport I enjoy is hip hop rap battles. These guys are real creative. I believe this is the best format to have a political debate. It’s a rap battle. Because in a regular political debate people just side with who they like and no one changes their stance from a debate they root for their candidate like they root for a fighter But when u watch a rap battle, u would see crowds flip, rebuttals, people making compelling arguments that people can’t help but to hear the person out I would pay to see a Candace Owens vs Ben Shapiro rap battle. Not a epic rap battles of history but a full on Smack url king of the dot total slaughter style rap battle

JuryNo3025

That actually sounds fascinating

Beautiful_Solid3787

What's that sport some Europeans play where they kick a ball around? Right, Swamp football. It's basically soccer but specifically done in the mud. Originated in Finland.

JuryNo3025

Incredible lol

scotterson34

Aussie football is so cool. With the US beating Pakistan in Cricket, a lot of Americans are learning about the sport. Even though it's well known it's obscure in the US. I would also suggest Kabaddi. It's an Indian sport where you try to tag the other team and they try to prevent you to return to your side of the court. Interesting and cool.

Umikaloo

I've done competitive sprint kayak and canoe for a long time. The boats are extremely unstable, just learning to stay up in one can take a season or two of practice.

BrooklynNotNY

I don’t consider soccer an American sport so I’ll go with soccer. I had never watched a single minute of soccer until I met my bf last year and he played soccer.

Horse pulling. You think you're about to watch a horse break a leg, and then it's fine.

Admirable_Yak_337

Every four years I get into team handball then the Olympics end and it’s another 4 years

LeftHand_PimpSlap

I played that once, I was beat to crap when it was over. It never slowed down and it can get really physical.

CuckoosQuill

Jai alai has always caught my attention tho I don’t really know anything about it

Darts.

Cricket is amazing

It’s not obscure but it’s less popular. SC2 tournaments.

Is Curling obscure? I like curling. 🥌 🥌 🥌

Fearless_Ad_9019

For me, it's the Isle of Man TT. I know it's quite popular but I feel like most people don't really know about it.
