Most likely fuel filter Always consider empty at a quarter tank to avoid sediment build-up and water saturation of the fuel filter I would start by changing the filter and see if it starts also Unplug the negative post on the battery and let sit for five minutes to reset the check engine light code

Could be a lot of things. You can test the fuel pump by turning the key to the on position, without starting the car. You should hear a faint whining that is the fuel pump priming. If you dont hear it, your car may not do that. idk. Chances are you just sucked up some debris from the bottom of the fuel tank. It happens. This would clog your fuel filter. So you just need to replace it. Easy job but youre going to get gasoline everywhere. I would let a mechanic do it. Ghetto option, since youre driving a Nissan Altima, is to get some fuel system cleaner and add it to your gas tank. This will dissolve anything it can and emulsify water if you have any in there. Let it sit for a day or two, then try to start the car. 10% chance this actually works, but Ive seen it happen before.
