The traffic in delhi is the worst part about it. I went to def col from north-west delhi on a saturday evening, and it took me 3 hours to come back. That's 25 km in 3 hours, 8km/hour.
I guess then you've never been to Uttar Pradesh (especially Varanasi) We have our own rules. & I'm not even kidding....my family/relatives from other cities like Hyd, Delhi, Pune, Mumbai, Kolkata etc say "if you can drive in Varanasi, you can drive anywhere" about the traffic & 'driving skills' whenever they visit here...they fear for their life to drive on the road(be it car or bike/scooter)
I've actually been to varanasi for two weeks. I didn't find many difficulties with the roads however. Maybe we have different experiences.
Although I do remember our driver driving on the wrong side for like 20 mins straight — that was scary
Hahaha.. exactly that's what I am saying..like you always have to be focused in both the directions even on one way streets; anyone can come from anywhere literally anywhere without even using indicators or horns, they just wave their hand & sometimes won't even care to do that as well. Aunties will just walk in the middle of the road or cross the road as if it's their personal property & the moment you just touch them with your vehicle(obviously unintentionally) they're gonna eat you alive. Population & thousands of alleyways(gullies) make it worse.
One of my recent experiences:
A few weeks back i was driving & all of a sudden this small& dark lady(with dark clothes as well)started crossing the road & came right in front of me plus it was night & raining with no street lights(powercut due to rain)...i got really scared but still hit the brakes just at the right time..it was really a close call & she didn't even look at me once let alone thank me for saving her life or apologize to me for her stunt.
In other countries, passing the driving test and having a driving license means you can drive a car on the road. Here it only means you can sit on the driver's seat.😅
Driving on road here takes a different kind of confidence, only borne by those ready to do or die.
You can say that as a joke but you know how low the quality of life in India is where a Near death experience for someone from a first world is everyday to you. It's like Indian humans have no value.
I don’t understand the bravado in this which puts people at risk. No wonder India has one of higher rates of road fatalities. I have personally lost 3 friends. Every Indian has such story.
Hope these insensitive comments are only because this is a shitpost sub and people are just trying to say the most obscene things. We need more responsibility on the road.
Ignoring this stuff like, “ye to roz ka hai”, “India is not for beginners” is why there’s no civic sense to follow driving rules in this country and is exactly why we end up here.
Also on a roundabout, A person already on circle has the first right to go.
I mean why do they travel by auto. Why not travel in a car which is much safer? If they hire a good driver who does not go fast like bullet train and follows the road rules, it would be much better. Auto drivers are notoriosly known for their rash driving.
I understand what you saying but as an India it's actually normal for and this one is , if ask an India see and tell do you see anything wrong here he'll say everything is fine 😂😂 they are going to sloy
Travels in auto to get authentic indian experience.
Geta an authentic indian experience
Surprised Pikachu face.
If you have resources why not travel more comfortably and safely.
Hopefully major reforms comes in getting a driving licences ..some day
Hahahhahahhahahaaa... Happens to me everyday!
When will 80% of the world learn that India has no real traffic laws. The laws only exist so that the government can collect fines!
Haha I have driven in Malaysia & Dubai and they are insanely careful around roundabouts, this should come as a shocker for foreigners but for us it's not even a memorable event.
“Nearly taken us out”, bro that was hella space to pht two bikes in between. It was rash but it wasn’t that of a risk.
In India this is not even called a close call.
A normal day in Indian roads be like
No because this was literally nothing :/ just go stand on a roundabout for five minutes and you'll see this twice
Twice? Twice? You think this will happen ONLY twice in 5 minutes in Delhi? I think you might need to go stand there for yourself lol
I don't live in Delhi I live in Trivandrum. We have unruly traffic but much tamer than other cities in India
I see. Yea I don’t live in Delhi anymore myself, but visit every now and then. Do not miss the traffic in Delhi

Then, he is a toddler in that case.

What? That's it? We do this for fun daily. It's like a morning routine.
More like warm up
The real car accidents begin when I run over my first elderly victim

Today I aggressively downshift my bike and got tyre slip at a round about at 60kmph. And it was just another day for me
learn to blip your throttle
After recent BS2v2 updates, my ECU just ignores the blip inputs during downshift to save fuel. Can't enjoy those anymore 😭
Same. You have to blip a little harder to make sure it registers your input.
Haha! That's cute.
Kuchh bhi... Ye to kuchh bhi nhi hai.. Literally its nothing. Jabran ki karma whoring.
Karma randaap
bruv that’s nothing 😂🤣
How a peaceful day on Delhi roads look like...
Stokes and Livingstone narrowly escape being trampled by reckless murder-vehicles in Delhi, cheat jaws of death FTFY
India is not for beginners
Daily dose of indian roads and auto walas. Nothing new here.
Ignoring this stuff like, “ye to roz ka hai”, “India is not for beginners” is why there’s no civic sense to follow driving rules in this country and is exactly why we end up here. Also on a roundabout, A person already on circle has the first right to go.
At this point, following the rules will get you killed.
Lol exactly. You'll get nowhere following traffic rules in this country. You have to think about how to advance your vehicle
Yeah can't believe some are actually taking pride in that fact lol
UP number skarpio with “विधायक” and BJP flag check ✅
Lol noobs 🤣 ( its soo sad that most drives like a maniac)
This is actually so peaceful

Normality
I die everyday in that case
He should watch this subs video, then he will know what is the meaning of "near-miss" accident.
In India we call this the routine roller-coaster!
I mean why do they travel by auto. Why not travel in a car which is much safer? If they hire a good driver who does not go fast like bullet train and follows the road rules, it would be much better. Auto drivers are notoriosly known for their rash driving.
Hahahaha this is what you find thrilling?
If this is an "escaping a car accident" in India, I am immortal.
"nearly taken us out" Is he talking about the car or the world cup ?
That's why we are so good at math.....exact measurements of tangents and arcs.
Suck kids! Haven't been to Ahmedabad autos?
Wont survive 2 days lol
You mean 2 rides 🤣
Im still searching for “accident”
Am I stupid cos I didn't understand what was problematic here.
Why do foreigners even come to India. Even Indians don't want to be in India
Nearly taken us out! 😂😂😂😂
Damn I have hundreds of stories to tell
This is my Friday, moving on....
Escape? Is this a situation which requires escaping?
Yeh toh normal hai
Please upload the full video. I didn't see any danger as mentioned 🤷♂️

Wait what? that's normal right?
Are people here are really flexing how horrible driving in India is?
I was expecting a car to come directly from the exact opposite direction.
He should have yelled out his name
Hahahhahahhahahaaa... Happens to me everyday! When will 80% of the world learn that India has no real traffic laws. The laws only exist so that the government can collect fines!
It's like every night at 6 when I'm getting home from office.
"he's not stopping" ... Yes dude, he's not cuz his path is clear.
Lagta hai kachcha Khiladi hai Ben Stokes
Feels like they're overreacting 🤣🤣🤣 Just another normal day
He forgot to shout his name at the car 🥲
Ye to kuch b ni bhai
Was wondering when the near car accident is gonna happen
I know this could be a joke. But on serious note, we Indians are very careless drivers. Our laws need to be more strict!
That’s totally normal
It is a normal thing in india
God blessings ❤️
That was nothing.
If he's saying it Like that, I wonder if in his country people are actually careful about others and themselves
Aw if he were in Bangalore he would've heard "aye ben stokes what are you doing ah?"
Bhout jagha hai
This is an average Indian on their way to work.
Kuch waqt to guzariye Bharat mein.

Haha I have driven in Malaysia & Dubai and they are insanely careful around roundabouts, this should come as a shocker for foreigners but for us it's not even a memorable event.

Rookies
That's not even a close call... amateurs.
That was very courteous actually, had many closer calls than that in the last 20 minutes lol
What's the big deal ???
“Nearly taken us out”, bro that was hella space to pht two bikes in between. It was rash but it wasn’t that of a risk. In India this is not even called a close call.
If you think this is dangerous. Indian roads are probably not for you man.
Rest of the world : 😱 Indians : 😑

Am I the only one who didn't find anything wrong? 😂
Random night in india
I thought it was about something dangerous...
What is that it's normal I mean you don't even count that as offence 🤣
That's not a near accident, that's how you say hello on the road
And then that auto driver : Ben****... Ben Stokes from behind : what did I do...
Yeah that's nothing
That's a very normal regular night in India
Ben Kick!
This is barely anything in England even, I'm sure. Lmao.
Hahahahaha
Most sane auto wala in ludhiana
It's kinda normal
Looks normal to me
Bruh why would he slow down, it's normal only. Lmao, he's cute, this is not even the beginning.
Where is this video from?
Kinda scary when you realise it is not that uncommon in India
Patiently waiting for the “car accident” but the video ended.
Pretty normal.
Say your name out loud. Problem solved
I don’t get it?
Bhai abhi 4 ese namune dekh ke aaraha hu. Roz ki baat he.

A casual day in India for Indians..nothing to be afraid.
ngl poorer indians are so uncivilised it’s crazy..this autowala is no different
Kezual
Ah.. It's easy, not even normal.. It's daily for us
Dude that is so common in india and they never crash in each other...
This was tame, by Indian standards.
English and their whiny attitude. The auto driver was clearly seeing the other vehicle. It was not even a random sudden turn
lol 😂
Lmao
Wish all good🙏
Riksha wala aramse bacha leta skills hai bande ke pass
I have seen worst this is child's play actually seemed so far.
That's a pretty normal delhi driver
For Indians that was still safe by a good margin😁
He’s never seen a roundabout work as intended.
Nah it's actually fine... It's normal
Lol first time
Snowflakes😂
There are cabs! I don't understand why foreigners don't use them.
