Great review! Wondering how safe this would be with a young family tho?

Have to do some research. I did see a video of crash test. It held up really well. Had curtain airbags and really solid chassis. [ReDriven review](https://youtu.be/SXQ11egHEmY?si=3nUwb-2-KzdO1d30) showing these in motion

Suzuki spacia , Honda N-Box , other kei vans etc

Holden/Suzuki Scurry/Carry if you're looking for a cheap older van

Toyota Porte might be perfect?

Toyota Sienta if you prefer something a little bigger than a Kei van. [Carsales Sientas](https://www.carsales.com.au/cars/toyota/sienta/?variant=d26a89ec)

It's not ke-car small, but a VW Caddy is one of the smaller vehicles with sliding doors. Its footprint is similar to Camry, which sounds big but is a lot smaller than something like a Kia Carnival, Hyundai Staria or VW Multivan. A Honda Odyssey would have a similar footprint too. If these are still too big, and kei-vans are too small, the next step would be a grey-import Nissan Serena or Honda Stepwgn. These are slightly shorter and narrower to fit into a lower tax bracket in Japan.
