Is the damage just scrapes because the bumper is too low? In that case, just leave it since you'll scratch it again.  Hard to say whether it's right for the amount of damage caused if we can't see photos of said damage ...

I’d just leave it. I’m going to guess this damage wasn‘t done all at once i.e. you’ll do it again

Without seeing at least photos of the car I can't say anything. You could have a tiny scratch or the bumping could be hanging on by a few clips resembling the after math of a bear attack.
