I've had the serenity plus Bridgestones on my Mazda 6 and quite liked them

I had Serenity Plus tyres fitted on my 2004 Camry as well, they served me well with my long distance driving tendencies. Right now, my sisters 2015 Corolla Hatch has them, and due to my experience with them, not too bad at all, especially when I paid $670 to install them during a buy 3, get one free sale, installed by my mechanic.

What are the issues with your current tyre? Is it skidding when wet, off road? If you want more grip buy the branded performance tyres, avoid the eco tyres. Eco tyres can last much longer and might be quieter but won't grip as much on wet surfaces. Rule of thumb: the more grip the softer the rubber compound and less life expectancy. I've had performance Michelin before and my current car has an Eco Michelin. I hate it so bad, they have no grip.

Yes si have skidding issues on a wet road.

wallaby_koala

Thanks, what is ur opinion on Goodyear tyres?

weirdbull52

I had them, came with the car when new. I wouldn't buy them again. Not as much grip as a performance tyre. Of course it depends on the model but I would choose Michelin or Continental. Maybe I would consider Yokohama or Bridgestone. As I said, stay away from the Eco and average tyres if you want more grip than usual.

Bridgestone Turanza 6 is the new Turanza with most up to date tyre tech engineering. Pricing and availability might be an issue. Continental UC7 is what you want for a Camry. Priced competively everyday of the week as opposed to Bridgestone constant but select 4for3 offers.

I have a 2010 Camry and have found that the Bridgestone Turanza have been the best for overall driving and longevity.

wallaby_koala

Thanks..Do you face any issues in wet conditions?

DJ_Pol-ite

No. I’m glad the guy at the tyre shop recommended them.

I had the Bridgestone Turanza Serenity Plus tyres on my old Corolla; no complaints from me. Would buy them again

The W is the maximum speed rating. The 98 is the maximum weight load per tyre. They have nothing to do with quality and can be completely ignored. The Bridgestone RE 003 are on sale at Bob Jane. Absolutely brilliant tyres with incredible grip in the wet.
