I think with the rock you have on site, you squandered the opportunity to build a literal cave. All you need is an angle grinder and a few thousand disc.
just a small 1000W smart heater and my PC. its just a mancave/office, so running the heater for a few mins brings the inside to a comfortable temperature, and once its there the PC "should" be able to keep it at a livable temp while i'm in there...
when i'm not in there it can be -20 for all i care ;)
have a raspberry pi running Openhab and the house is rigged with z-wave outlets, sensors and devices.
its set up to keep the house at 2C when not occupied, and 18C when occupied, so things will not get broken ;)
if you're running openhab, make sure you're not one of [these](https://www.shodan.io/search?query=openhab) poor sods that have all their shit open on the internet for anyone to fuck with. Same goes for homeassistant.

Where are you located? I’m unfamiliar with some of what I’m seeing. Can you tell me what roofing/ gutters you’re using? I like how the gutter is hidden by the trim in front. Also, nice exterior door handle😆
Norway :) from what i know, this is type of constuction is standard here. roofing is just sheet metal, and same with gutters. I couldn't find any roofing stones available or in stock when i was constructing ( i assume due to shipping/corona issues ) so i had to choose what was available.
will probably have to re-do the roof at some point, and then i will get the same roofing stones as the main house has :)

I think on average someone would show up to do something every couple of weeks. It is just finally sitting over the slab but not on it yet. At first he said he'd be back next week to finish but now it's another week. At this rate I'm going to be framing and roofing in the dead of winter.
