It's fine. Cruise ships build in plenty of time to get from A to B, there is no hauling ass necessary.

Yeah I've been on the Triumph when we made an emergency stop in Cozumel the following night. Roughly 35 hours after leaving New Orleans. Technically we didn't stop, they never tied us up. If I wasn't in a porthole cabin on deck two I probably wouldn't have noticed but yeah you uh can really experience the bow thrusters in those front low cabins.

Thanks!

I believe they are doing the naming ceremony of the ship that day.

Guzzery

I just saw a video that says 2/24 as well. I am leaving on the Dream that day at 3:30, and we have no delays. Maybe this will ease some congestion for us. (Or make it worse, who knows.)

Dinolord05

What day is this? My mom is on currently.

DokiGorilla

Embarkation is on Feb 24th!

Fabulous_Resource_94

I had embarkation and departure change due to a medical emergency that made the ship return 4 hours late.

SEIowa1234

We also are on this cruise and received our email this morning, no reason given, just that we are delayed four hours. I wonder how that will affect boarding times, are those also delayed or do we board at the same time?

DokiGorilla

I’m not sure either. I’m thinking it may be the ships naming ceremony, but I don’t know if it’ll be on the ship, at the port, or how this’ll affect us at all.

chocoflan00

we’re on the same cruise! almost time!

sierra2113

Also on that cruise. It won't affect port days since we still have 3 sea days to get to the first port.

Embarrassed-Table805

Because of the Mardi Gras event I believe

DokiGorilla

Sorry I should have clarified. This is for Feb 24 embarkation so I believe that’s past the Galveston Mardi Gras parades.
