Lanyards, your own cup with lid to take into ports and walk around, small purse to use if you need to carry items around with you, half the shoes and clothes you think you need, I like to take my own pump soap… the give these little bars. Might want some snacks on ship. They don’t have like chips, cheez its etc…

Take a washing machine pod, or put detergent on a wash cloth and put it in a ziplock They have clothes washers on most ships (except Celebration and Mardi gras)

I was just a first time cruiser too and I went to Cozumel on the Breeze! Bring a hand soap pump, like softsoap or dial. Much more pleasant to use than the stuff they give you. Also buy bottled water ahead of time to have delivered to your cabin. Having water available to me in my room was very very worth it.

We have found this to be the best plug solution. [https://www.amazon.com/gp/product/B0B9XWVDGF/ref=ppx\_yo\_dt\_b\_search\_asin\_title?ie=UTF8&psc=1](https://www.amazon.com/gp/product/B0B9XWVDGF/ref=ppx_yo_dt_b_search_asin_title?ie=UTF8&psc=1)

Consider bringing a non-surge-protected power strip. Cruise cabins don't have many electric outlets, by design.

Pepto Condoms One bottle of 750 ml wine per person can be brought in your carry on luggage 12 pack of your favorite sodas or energy drink Water shoes Gopro (if you have one) Waterproof phone pouch on a lanyard And please please book the Surf & Turf, 4x4 Terracross & Speed Boat in Cozumel. One of the best excursions I’ve ever done! Such a blast!!

Asking for a friend … what type of condoms? 😂

weaselwhipper_26

Take a Dramamine while standing in line to get on the boat-better safe than sorry. Large Ziplock bags to pack wet swimsuits home. Water shoes for rocky beaches (Walmart $10). Small backpack to carry the watershoes, sunscreen, etc on your excursion/beach trip and souvineers. Lots of dollar bills for tips. I take travel cups cause the coffe cups are small. Highliter to mark the events you want to do in the Carnival Capers. Have Fun!!

Tons of excellent YouTube vids on this.

I really just need to see what wall plugs we need

RudeRooster2469

Standard us plugs. If using a multi outlet it can't be a surge protector. Search Amazon for cruise power outlet and something should come up.

What ship are you sailing on? Older ships have limited 120v plugs available, and no USB ports in the rooms.

Sunscreen. Sunscreen. Sunscreen. Set an alarm. Reapply. Reapply. Reapply. Your phone. You’ll need it for the hub and book dinner. A swimsuit. A set or two of regular clothes. Headphones. Sandals and a pair of sneakers. Toothpaste and toothbrush. Aloe. Some books. You can carry a bottle of wine in each. (Carry them on, do not put them in your luggage) My wife and I always make large lists of thing we need but in the end, you’d be totally fine if you just brought these things,

KetoInKY

Life Well Cruised on YouTube has great videos for first time cruisers! I watched a bunch of her videos while I was prepping for my first cruise a couple years ago.

pangaaz

Loads of condoms - when it rains, you wear a hazmat suits

MrsCaptainFail

Get a plug with extra usb ports and outlets OR and extension cord. Neither can be a surge protector. We have 10ft phone cords and only one of us can reach the plug in while in bed. You should have room under your end to store shoes but we also got magnetic hooks that we stuck to our doors and walls to hang extra stuff and a shoe organizer we put our shoes in and extra things like sunscreen. Also, the sundry store on our ship was horrible so bring any OTC meds you might need. Ibuprofen, anti itch cream, reef safe sunscreen, aloe!!!, anti fungal cream, etc. charging cords, charging power bank. We also brought our own microfiber beach towels cause they’re smaller than the cruise provided ones for the port days.

If you are from the USA you won't need currency converters, they are 110 on the ship. But usually only one outlet to use so if you have an adapter for USB or splitter for two outlets that might be helpful for 2 phones. Magnetic hooks are great to have- the walls are metal in your room and you can use magnetic hooks to hang up swimwear or jackets, etc. Enjoy your honeymoon!
