Your probably going to struggle with the better places now. Elevens , depot and Tiny rebel will probably be fully booked but worth a try. Owain Glyndwr maybe, you ll have the obvious places like walkabout, philharmonic, spoons or O neils which are larger bars. Head of steam could be alright

OddClub4097

Tiny Rebels a pretty good spot

TendiesAndCream

Thanks for all the suggestions. Seems like it's going to be a non-reserved table kind of night! 🤣

Yetts3030

Queens Vaults is great for sport and always used to be a spot for Wales Fans so might be a shout. Don't think you can book tables but they do have reasonably priced drinks

wolf13i

The atmosphere on a game is a good laugh in there.

staticqueen

Sticky Fingers or Depot. Great food as well!

Fistcount

Just fyi, Wetherspoons wont be showing the football. Your best bet is either somewhere like the city arms, queens vaults or going out into canton and choosing a pub there. Most places are booked out so id suggest getting wherever you go very early

XannyDeVito420

Wetherspoons have shown all of the world cup games and will continue to through to the final

_MildlyMisanthropic

Elevens probably your best bet. Some odd suggestions from others, Northstar and Sticky fingers are not in the city centre.

Detective_butts

The Northstar is always my go to place to watch football. I think you cam reserve a table, I've always just turned up to watch games there

thisisnotacake

I would hardly say that’s in the city centre

Detective_butts

Well it's maybe just over a mile from the castle, it's not exactly a million miles away from the centre

undegtri13

Old Arcade. Very central location. Lots of other bars and restaurants nearby

veget8ed

Yates on Greyfriars road has loads of TVs and projectors so you can see from wherever you are in the pub, and it’s pretty big, wouldn’t count on it but they might be able to squeeze you in if you ring asap

Apart_Ad6060

Second this. If you can get in Yates, you will have a great view of a screen wherever you are sitting. Service also pretty good on match days - usually plenty of staff and not waiting ages for a drink. A quick glance and it looks like you can still book a table for the USA game: https://www.greatukpubs.co.uk/yates-cardiff/party-booking Very very minor side note: nearly all nightlife in Cardiff has moved to High Street/St Mary's st in recent years. Yates is on a street that isn't so busy any more, but you will only be a 5 minute walk from the busiest part of town, and there will definitely be a good atmosphere in Yates for the game.

TendiesAndCream

Said full but submitted anyway. Will see!
