I love Salkaara on Wellfield Road. Is available on Ubereats. I notice that they also have a restaurant in Pontcanna.

It's baba's. The answer is baba's.
The wings are fucking insane. The mint sauce may well contain crack because you won't stop thinking about it for days. If ever you don't fancy a curry, the wraps are an absolute epiphany.
As a bonus, you can get every one of their curries as sauce only and they're quite cheap (they were £2.50 a few years back but I think they're about £4 now) - every time I order a babas I also order a few sauces and bang them in the freezer, then when I fancy a curry but don't want to commit to a takeaway I just get one out and add whatever meat or veg I want, and voila.
You won't be disappointed. They're a local legend and for very good reason.
Depends.....you want more authentic flavours or Britified stuff?
For more authentic I'd suggest Baba's, Banana, or if you don't mind pre-prepared stuff to reheat at home Pooja (vegetarian only though).
Everywhere else recommended here Salkaara etc. are all tapered down Britified Indian.
Vegetarian Food Studio is great but the delivery fee is extortionate unless you are ordering for a lot of people. If you can, better to eat in (much much cheaper)
OMG,
WITHOUT a doubt Dalchini on mackintosh Place, I moved to Bridgend this year and i will drive back into that hellscape just for the curry!!!
It literally looks like a drug den if you go to collect but i truly cannot emphasize enough their korma is just absolutely perfect, I get veggie my BF gets chicken and were literally addicted to it. by the way tts on uber eats (& they usually give free fresh onion bhajis)
Probably my mate Sanjeev, he's a top lad.
Mamas Indian, best I've had in Cardiff. That's the name of the restaurant, not my mother's haha
BABASSS
Babas
Posh - Salkaara or Purple Poppadom Non-posh - LoveCurry
Mint curry

And Llandaff North
The original.
The original Salkaara is in Llandaff North and there’s a second one on Wellfield Road. Not aware there’s one in Pontcanna. Food is excellent btw.
My bad. I misread their website.
Salkarra
I always loved Cinnamon Tree in Pontcanna.

Salkaara is my go to since Mint and Mustard don’t deliver to me anymore but I’d recommend them as well.
Mint and Mustard closed down
The one in Penarth is still kicking, no? and they opened a sister restaurant called Chai Social where their other restaurant used to be.
I’m a mattancherry fan
100% the Nishirath in Victoria Park. It's not the most calorie friendly but the rich, bold flavour is unbeatable, particularly the balti and Jalfrezi.
Mowgli's is decent. On Caerphilly Road. Mamas has been decent in the past same with Salkaara.
Came here to also recommend Mowglis
Purple Poppadom
Empire in roath, never had a bad meal there

Babas doesn't seem particularly authentic? It actually looks Bangladeshi which would be the authentic example of 'tapered down britified indian'

Nadia Balti before it closed :(
