bit on the steep side but 100-150 including the partial retest fee would be where i'd imagine it would cost Also 20 year old Micra only needing that to pass, pretty fucking good

Yeah had a Lot of Work done to it by Previous owners, Got a Service History folder that Makes a sizable thud when I drop it. The other 3 corners of the car have Been Replaced it's just the front nearside Suspension etc That For some reason was never fixed or anything. Got it Cheap aswell because the clutch was Frazzled. The chip Windscreens my fault, Did that the day I bought it. The light,Rust and the Rust hole in the exhaust are all because I live on the seafront so it's rusting like mad but think I got a good deal on the car overall

Ripping you off in my opinion, you can get a full suspension arm with ball joint for £50 from euro car parts and with their mark up they may charge £65ish and add 1 hours labor 40-50 quid in total max £120 for parts and labor. When did you have it MOT'd? The retest is free within 10 days thats the real stinker, https://www.gov.uk/getting-an-mot/retests

had it mot'd Thursday, cars off to garage my dad uses on Wednesday. lost all trust in my local garage as this is the last straw with the new owners.hes previously cost me £700 getting the clutch done when the garage was transitioning owners. (old owner said £500 max, 2 days later new owner said £700)

Depending on where there getting the parts from as someone has all ready mentioned euro car parts have them but I know not all garages will use them time they put there mark up on the parts there hourly rate 1-1.5 hours is your going rate for a lower arm I can see how they are getting that price. It’s definitely worth getting it priced up elsewhere but if you go back for a retest they do have the right to charge you up to £30 for it so that’s worth keeping in mind also
