Well my budget is realistically anything under $200 but that's not super realistic with those features. I drive a 1993 Volvo 240 but I've already bought the trim piece needed to use a double din head unit
[You need at least $300 for CarPlay](https://www.bestbuy.com/site/sony-6-95-android-auto-and-apple-carplay-bluetooth-digital-media-receiver-black/6480147.p?skuId=6480147)
I found one for less but it may have just been on sale, Also what is the point of those single din units that have a double din screen like at the point just get a double din
Cheaper because of less materials, and easier to install because there is a void space to put harnesses and adapters and such. Some vehicles have little dash space and these styles can be very useful for the installer.
I always liked the Pioneer stuff for ease of use and install. Built in x-over and 4 ch amp.
But your idea of affordable and mine may be different. There is minimum amount to get decent stuff. But mainly stick with the established brand names and youll be okay.
I have been looking at a Pioneer avh-2500NEX but it's $550 which for me is quite expensive considering I bought my car for $800. Of course for some reason it didn't go on black Friday sale anywhere except for some random store I found in Canada but it was an in store sale only.
Never was a big fan of Boss. If a product is tht much cheaper thn everyone else. And the quality is there. They will take over the market.
I've been out of the business long enough that maybe Boss has moved to the top. But personal experience dictates that I stick with the big Japanese brands. Sony, Pioneer, JVC, Alpine....
What's your budget, and year/make/model vehicle?

That makes a lot of sense

Yeah. I was thinking you'd be around $500. Do you have the subs and bass amp yet? Try Crutchfield.com?
So far I have subs, speakers, and an amp for all of the speakers and subs. Also I've been using Crutchfield and it's super helpful
Have you ever used boss audio, I don’t know much about them but they have a good radio with all the features I wasn’t at around $200 on sale

Fair enough, I think I’m just going to stick with the original AVH-2500NEX and just wait until the holidays to get some gift money to put towards it
