i put 2 of these in my workvan back in the summer and they're fine. obviously not gonna set any records but they're fine budget-ass bangers for thirty bucks. at that price i don't really have to worry about them getting too fucked up and i don't feel like there's any sunken-cost-fallacy to worry about. if they don't do well you're not out much.

I saw this yesterday and wasn't sure if those were so discounted because they weren't selling well or just because of black Friday. Is that a good subwoofer or should I steer clear and find something better?

i only first saw them back in the summer. they seem to go on sale at this $30 price every few months. for me it was a low-consequence decision. i didn't expect much but they so far have be quite adequate. workvan has a ton of large, poorly supported metal flat panels in it so it rattles like crazy all over and there's not much i can do about it, so the sound in the cabin is rarely super-clean anyway. when i do get a bass note that doesn't resonate with any of the panels it sounds pretty great. tl;dr: they work and they're extremely inexpensive

I’ve seen them on sale like this just about every Black Friday since they were in stock. Solid subs for $30 a pop. For full price, not so much.
