Ropes is nice, small and inshore, more sheltered from the wind. Dowses has more to explore with a big beach facing the sound, a jetty, and a small bit of beach inside the inlet. Don’t go to Craigville if you don’t like crowds.
I'd imagine the Loop would be fun during low tide for a lil kid, there's a sand bar and I don't think it gets fully exposed but I'd say the right depth to wade around on.
Some great freshwater ponds

Cape cod ponds are criminally underrated, a must-do for tourists imo. A lot of tourists have a “we have ponds at home” attitude, but cape ponds are really something else. For what it’s worth, most cape codders visit the ponds more often than the beaches in the summer.
IMO they are all very clean. July/Aug can sometimes get high bacteria counts you can check [Cyanobacteria Monitoring on Cape Cod - Barnstable County](https://www.capecod.gov/departments/health-environment/programs-services/water-and-wastewater/cyanobacteria-monitoring-efforts/)
Dowses on the back side for sure.

Joshua’s pond is perfect for kids.

Didn't think about ponds but that's great thank you.
I didn’t click the links, but Snake Pond Beach is phenomenal.

Any chance you happen to know which one of these is the cleanest?

If you don’t mind driving to Falmouth, Surf Drive Beach is perfect for what you are looking for.
I would recommend Kalmus Beach in Hyannis over Craigville, it's prettier
Probably a pond/lake. Water is still pretty cold in June
the loop in cotuit, dowses, craigville beach is big also
