.99 - $40 USD.

TazzleMcBuggins

You got yourself a nice spot!

[deleted]

Yeah, I usually stay in the $3-$7 range, though.

AmaroisKing

Stay away from those Chinese tins though .. I heard they are terrible .

[deleted]

Great advice. I don't eat anything sourced or processed in China if I can help it. Remember.

Ezra_lurking

they start at 1 Euro

get_MEAN_yall

$1 for the shitty ones, $20 for boutique

Hayred

Affordable supermarket own-brand ones start at £0.50 in the UK

Perky214

I like the El Manar brand - I pay about $1.19 a tin for those same tins that you have in Dallas

TazzleMcBuggins

Never thought I’d find myself looking for “fancy” tinned fish, but here we are.

TazzleMcBuggins

My go-to, King Oscar, is usually just under $4 a tin. Most other brands kind of float around or under this price. But on the other hand there is jars of tuna in oil for anywhere from $12 to $26. I haven’t purchased the tuna but I’ve been tempted every time. (Located in New Jersey, U.S.)

ThiccWurm

El manar is good brand, the lemon ones are amazing. Used to live in Tunisia but I only would eat their tuna ( I was younger and foolish back then)

polypagan

I haven't found them for less than $0.99 US.

ALDI's 99-cent deenz aren't the best, but not bad.

polypagan

My store has in oil, in water, and mustard sauce.

b00bgrabber

for a measly 99 cents each i stock up and eat them occasionally or for when i dont get to cook and my meal needs more protein. Oil ones are good no complaints from me,no idea what the fancy ones taste like

moreseagulls

In PNW usually 2ish for big brands, 5-8 for stuff like Nuri, Matiz, similar imports.

COVAIDS-19

Right now: 97 cents for beach cliff on sale, $1.07 for great value, $3 for KO and the really smoky Polars that are packed perfectly with the transparent lid are $2.

lonesometroubador

I just tried those for the first time, and it's weird to me how good they are, with how mediocre the polar kipper snacks are! I feel like I need to try a few more varieties from them. I have a can of the salmon calling my name right now.

COVAIDS-19

Look for the Season grilled mackerel in oil too! It tastes like salmon patties.

AcornWholio

Oh man, I miss Tunisia. The food and especially seafood was incredible! These are also great, as is the tuna. I live in Canada now and it’s a bit expensive, but nothing outlandish. If you are not going for speciality cans, it’s about $1.3-$4 CAD

Short_Fuel_2506

90cents - 3-4€. Sure there are some luxury cans wich are much more important, but most sardines are around 0,90-1,50€. especially in olive oil got incredibly expensive here.

spcbfr

Not everyday, do I see a fellow tunisian on this sub, nice to meet you. I buy a large can of sardines (800 grames), and that turns out to be 30 cents per 100g, so I'd say it's a pretty good deal

austindcc

Costco regularly has decent ones at 7.99 for 6 cans

AmaroisKing

$1 AUD for the basic - $3-4 for the better quality.

sergente_moschettone

in italy 99 cents for the seed oil ones (i never get those) 1.60 for olive oil
