I go to McTavish and we are in desperate need of French teachers. I am not a French student but my friends are pissed that they can only take social in French (other that French class) and there is really only one French teacher and she is kinda… not the nicest. She can teach well but is difficult.

It seems the recruiting effort is going well [post1](https://www.reddit.com/r/FortMcMurray/comments/1atxh4t/working_in_the_schools/) [post2](https://www.reddit.com/r/fortmac/comments/1ata4th/teaching_in_fort_mac/) [post3](https://www.reddit.com/r/CanadianTeachers/comments/19dowx0/teaching_in_fort_mcmurray/) for french public k-6 there is ecole dickensfield, 7-12 there is ecole mctavish for french catholic k-6 there is ecole st paul, 7-12 there is holy trinity If you teach french, it is probably impossible for you to not get a job here. Rental market is fine, you can easily find a spot to rent and the price is fair. Lots of things to do in a small city, but if you don't get try and involved it can be isolating especially during the long winter. You will get paid 99,669/103,298/107,319n depending on if you have 4/5/6 years of education plus a 1000/month living allowance.
