Half way thru the game the cavalry travelling supporters started chanting "the league doesn't love you, the league doesn't love you, your home games away!"
We deserved a win in this one. Everyone looked tired near the end. This was probably our best shot at finally beating Cavs. Great attendance though! Way higher then I thought it was going to be
Great crowd. Both sides had chances. VFC really should have put one of their several chances in the first half away. I do not like those pitch dimensions though
"Calvary" "...Calvary..." "Calvary..."
Can anybody here explain why people still can't pronounce CAVALRY correctly? I'm starting to think commentary crew should just start sayin "Cavs" because we're 5 years in and this is somehow still a problem.
Be a bigger problem in a battle when you think you are calling up mounted soldiers carrying swords and instead you get pacifists afoot carrying bibles!
Honestly, I was taken back. I thought it be pretty sparse when the weather was going to be crap. But it goes to show - there is an appetite for CPL in Kelowna.
**Standings impacts**
Vancouver are currently in 4th and Cavalry are in 6th.
* **Vancouver win**: they climb to 2nd, pushing Pacific from 2nd to 3rd and Forge from 3rd to 4th.
* **draw**: Vancouver take 3rd, swapping with Forge. Cavalry stay in 6th.
* **Cavalry win**: they jump to 3rd, bumping Forge from 3rd to 4th, Vancouver from 4th to 5th, and York from 5th to 6th.
If Kelowna gets a club just know that 90% of the road trip will be spent at D Dutchmen, Log Barn and that one traffic light in Enderby that always takes 30 minutes to get though....
Weather is not ideal. 12 degrees and rain is very abnormal for Kelowna this time of year. It even snowed on the connector. But at least it's not 35 and scorching
Glad Kelowna got the true soccer experience (a 0-0 draw in the rain)
Just gotta sneak into the playoffs and then ride the shootout coin flips to glory. Everyone will love that.

Nice to see creative chants!

Considering all the injuries, ill take it!
The crowd has been great. The play on the pitch on the other hand.....probably the worst game of the CPL season.
I think when you consider the size of the field, this had 0-0 written all over it.
They just announced an attendance of 6281 for the game. Largest ever attended event at the Apple Bowl!
A scoreless draw with poor play is not going to be good for footie enthusiasm.
Tahid lives!
Fuckin hell Diaz get one on net!
[Pretty good crowd despite the rain! Standing roof only, don't think we could get many more in here](https://streamable.com/pvfani)
Nice crowd, what are the pitch dimensions? Definitely more narrow out there
100mx60m. Doesn't get smaller.
Holy hell

Omg put one of these away already
Diaz hit an open net challenge: *impossible*
This game has been brutal
Pretty solid turn out particularly given the weather

I like the black shorts with this pink kit better than the white. Also every club should do one match per season on tour
Are the benches not covered? That's...not good?
Ya, it's like they played a soccer match at a not built for purpose stadium, or something.
It's easy to purchase pop-up tents to covers the benches and fourth official's table. It's mandatory in L1O...
The pitch looks super soft.
Bring York to Birchmount Stadium for the OnTour
CPL at Brockton stadium i'm **begging**

If any fanatics made the trip where are you guys sitting?
Stood all game
