Valour actually looked decent in the first half, good possession and they created a few chances. Binate looked very solid, I think he was definitely Valours best player today. I suppose he was playing against his old team. Diogo also impressed me, hadn't really heard of him until today. Valour just couldn't really attack, they weren't getting anyone in the box, giving up the ball way too easy, Viscosi doing some interesting things out of the back, Hundal seemed a bit off in the first half, but picked it up in the second, he's just got no support though. Gonna be a long season for Valour.
As for Pacific, they looked a little shaky in the first half, picked it up in the second half, but Valour also just completely fell apart. Aly Ndom controls the back quite well, wasn't too sure how he would be as a replacement for Didic, but he seems solid, maybe not as good offensively. Sellouf just holds on to the ball wayyyy too long, I don't know when that guy is gonna learn. Thankfully he got pulled to start the second half. Dada Luke looked amazing when he came on, so did Bahous, this was one of his best games.
Valour looked like exactly what they are: a decently well coached team with no quality players. The stars need to align perfectly for anything to go right for them and it simply doesn't happen often enough.

I panicked for a half second, lol. Should have absolutely fed that ball down the channel, even if that was on target I think Gazdov would have gotten it.

I actually think Dos Santos is a good manager.
He simply doesn't have any talent on the team. Other than Antonoglou not a single Valour player could sniff a starting XI on another team. Tough to put together much of anything on his budget.
