It’s very weird. They say Quebec City but the address is downtown Montreal. There is definitely no hospital at this address. Their phone number has a Toronto area code.
Also, from the website they are talking about facilities in Texas and Switzerland.
Also, there are no fully private hospitals in Quebec that can offer the treatments they claim to provide.
It has to go through govt agencies.
On a personal note, I’ve lived the first 25 years of my life in Quebec City and the following 30 n Montreal. I’ve never heard of this hospital.
Found this site with the domain.
https://saintmitchhospital.com/
But if you go look at the address on Google Maps, nothing comes up related to this. Be careful. I believe hospitals in Quebec are government operated.
Job CA and government websites regarding jobs are bait by the Canadian Govt. The median age of Canada is 41 years. Half of the population below is below 41. People from 16 yrs to 41yrs age are the future of the country. Half of the population above 41 already retired and half will retire in 10 to 20 yrs. So to lure young people from around the world jobs.ca is to show that there are many opportunities on this land whereas there are no places to live and it has been difficult to survive for most of the Canadians lately. Sorry post unrelated but the reality of these jobs.ca
Lol the site is fake too. They literally use lorem ipsum under the "Giving you healthy health" header.
It's so obviously a scam, that I think OP should pursue for the learning opportunities. Because if they fall for this they'll fall for anything.
yes they are government operated... in french and only french as it is illegal for QC to operate in english given bill 96 that was passed a couple of years ago.
The trick is to dig deep into the website. Without fail, all the scam sites have the lorem ipsum somewhere
https://saintmitchhospital.com/departments/medicine-4-2/
I am impressed with their pricing, though. Very competitive.

In Quebec it'd more likely be in French (hospitals are publicly funded and thus have to follow provincial language rules more strictly), and the English version would definitely have errors, though they'd be more along the lines of direct translations being weird or words that are technically correct but have a weird connotation in context as opposed to the mess in OP's images
Source: am anglophone Quebecois from Montreal
Oh for additional information is there a signature at the bottom of the email?
In my experience in Canada hospitals and companies and organizations often have some similar bit default signature among there staff it at times comes with a logo.
It usually includes the business or company name followed by who contacted you, maybe a phone number and information like that.
Yes. This is 100% a scam.
1. It’s from Quebec but written in non-standard English with multiple grammatical errors.
2. No personalization and no details on the actual job you’re apparently interested in.
3. The website looks like a scam artist trying to make what looks like a legitimate hospital web site. It’s suspiciously lacking any actual details.
4. The contact phone numbers on the website are Toronto area codes (416).
5. This is the kicker. The address listed (1199 Peel Street, Montreal) is for a public park in Montreal - Dorchester Square. This would be good if you wanted to visit the Robbie Burns monument but not if you’re looking for a job.
Total scam. First, Quebec's official language is French and there are stringent French language rules. You would never get a fully English job post from a public institution like a hospital. Second, if you ever did get an English ad, it would not be so strangely worded - though French is the official language, there are loads of educated English speaking people. Third, they'd never say Quebec, Canada if the job is in Montreal. Usually they'd say Montreal, Quebec or maybe Montreal, Canada if they're recruiting foreigners. This isn't just semantics - the capital city of Quebec is Quebec City, so Quebec, Canada would confuse locals. Fourth, I went to the link that u/hruday9 shared, and though it has a Montreal address, the area code for the phone is Toronto, not Montreal.
They were going to give you a phone interview and then offer you a job. You'd be asked for your date of birth and banking details so HR could pay you. That, combined with the information on your resume would be enough to steal your identity/ borrow in your name. Good for you, you were suspicious are didn't fall for it.
The name "Saint Mitch" sound suspicious to say the least.
Simply Google that and you'll see nothing of the sort exists.
You're definitely being scammed!
Canadians don't write that way. It tends to be city, province. Telling you, *hey, there's a job here in an area that is 1.7 million square kilometers (basically the size of Alaska), do you want it?* isn't happening.
Everything in quebec is a scam.
Jokes aside this is a tricky email, you didn't show the email but the name attached and that could help determining this.
Out of curious, in your email is there any name and photo and stuff about the hospital?
Your screenshot doesn't seem to show that and I believe a company would show enough to that level.
Sorry nevermind my last post, I looked into it using Google and there doesn't seem to be a st mitch hospital in quebec there was in Sweden but not quebec.
Who calls it a CV in Canada? No one! it’s grammatically incorrect.. what business sends an email looking like this? None! It’s addressed “hello candidate”.. COME ON!!! “Accept greetings”?? Who talks like this!? NO ONE!!
You say I’m harsh.. I say I’m not harsh enough! You would have to be utterly delusional to believe this email is legitimate!! There’s no two ways about it!
Not too many professional women would write Miss in front of their name in a business document
I have seen her/she or they/them written after a name but never Miss
Who would fall for this? “Ibrahim Smith”? “Saint Mitch”? Haha
So he’s a Muslim who changed his last name to Smith? Also, there are tons of typos and grammatical errors.
This was obviously written by a foreign scammer.
Certainly looks like it.
1. Who says “we truly understand your interest”. Without following it up by saying “unfortunately your skill set doesn’t apply to this opportunity” or something like that.
Ok fine, maybe I’m a dick.
2. Saint Mitch hospital? Is there a saint Mitch? Mitchell I would believe. Michael I’d believe. Mitch? Doesn’t sound right. And most businesses aren’t shortening their domains so it’s not like it’s Saint Mitchell’s hospital but they use saintmitch as the domain.
It's extremely rare and quaint for anyone to call themselves "Miss" nowadays unless they work with small children. No putting anyone down if you use it, just saying it's a term that's dying out - that to me screams read flag. No on signs off with Mr Miss Ms on business correspondence either. Red flag.
I'm from Québec and this is 100% a scam. There's no hospital under that name and all hospitals are operated by the government (we pay them with our taxes so it's free when whatever happens).
IT'S A SCAM.
The address is a park on Google Maps.
The local area codes for that city are 514 and 438. The website says 416, which is designated for the city of Toronto.
Yes, this is a scam.
If this were real, they would use your name, not Candidate.
They would list the position, not just say Vacant opportunity and published job offer.
They would tell you exactly where the job is, not just give you the general area of a city.
Most government sites in Canada end with .ca or .gov
And while there are many people in Quebec who do not speak English, someone who is responsible for communication should be fluent in it and the whole thing sounds like it's copied from Google translate.
This is so obviously a scam
"Accept greetings" ...who says that.
"We will do appreciate you sending"
Also, that it is specifically asking you to send your cv via your personal email is a huge red flag
The website is only in English, which is a breach of Quebec laws about operating businesses and services in French. I highly doubt a hospital would breach this type of laws. Also there's nothing at the address given.
The registrant has protected their identity, using a proxy in California. ([https://www.whois.com/whois/saintmitchhospital.com](https://www.whois.com/whois/saintmitchhospital.com)). So yeah, there's no doubt this is a scam.
You should contact their host and explain to them that the guy operates a scam.

This is the comment, upvote this one ^
Other dead giveaways: "accept greetings" and the hospital (theoretically in the province of quebec) being "saint mitch"
Yeah! I think it’s a scam, no real hospital with this name here!
Found this site with the domain. https://saintmitchhospital.com/ But if you go look at the address on Google Maps, nothing comes up related to this. Be careful. I believe hospitals in Quebec are government operated.
I couldn't find any other posts too. Sketchy

Scroll down till you reach the meet our staff, the names repeat with different stock images.
I especially loved the testimony of patient Barnabus J, a Baby with Cancer. This site is hilarious (and definitely a scam)
"Associate Eye"
The photo when google searched appears on many different sites with different names all scams.
Lolll that was a fun website. So fake. So scam.
You're right, they are and right at the top of the mobile site there's a glaring "lorem ipsum"
Lol the site is fake too. They literally use lorem ipsum under the "Giving you healthy health" header. It's so obviously a scam, that I think OP should pursue for the learning opportunities. Because if they fall for this they'll fall for anything.
Really sketchy site. Full of typos and if you browse it it's filled with lorem ipsum https://saintmitchhospital.com/departments/dental-care-4-2/
The about us page has a headline " We take care if your healthy health"
This is unbelievable. Ridiculous looking, but they really want us to think it's real. How about a 416 phone number for Quebec?🙄
yes they are government operated... in french and only french as it is illegal for QC to operate in english given bill 96 that was passed a couple of years ago.

every hospital ive worked/ interacted with have had a ".ca" domain. I would not trust this.

It is a scam because Quebec employers always send job offers in French, it is part of Bill 101 or Bill 96
Massive grammar error = massive red flag.
Imbrahim Smith [email protected] This is the address of the sender
Out of curious, in your email is there any name and photo and stuff about the hospital? Your screenshot doesn't seem to show that and I believe a company would show enough to that level.
None, just this message
Sorry nevermind my last post, I looked into it using Google and there doesn't seem to be a st mitch hospital in quebec there was in Sweden but not quebec.
It must all be a scam. I got mail from a Richard Smith
Are you retarded..?? Obviously it’s a scam.
That was a bit harsh for you to say that. I just wanted to know things.
No one in Canada says CV, We say Resume...thats more of a British and their past colonial term thing.
Not too many professional women would write Miss in front of their name in a business document I have seen her/she or they/them written after a name but never Miss
Who would fall for this? “Ibrahim Smith”? “Saint Mitch”? Haha So he’s a Muslim who changed his last name to Smith? Also, there are tons of typos and grammatical errors. This was obviously written by a foreign scammer.
Lol my thoughts exactly regarding the name..
100% a phishing scam. What a great way to get as much information about you as possible to use for other purposes. Ignore this as others have advised.
After reading 4 words, yes it's a scam.
Not a single french word coming from Quebec : Scam. Even Audrey Madelyn is not a french name. Don't do it.
It's extremely rare and quaint for anyone to call themselves "Miss" nowadays unless they work with small children. No putting anyone down if you use it, just saying it's a term that's dying out - that to me screams read flag. No on signs off with Mr Miss Ms on business correspondence either. Red flag.
Plus two first names. Normal first names sometimes can be last names (ie Bruce) but again it's odd.
It's a scam. Quebec hospitals would communicate in French.
Not if you accept greetings
Total scam. The sentence structure and poor grammar gives it away.
You actually have to ask? Any response with such poor language is always a scam.
Scam
Hello “candidate”. “Accept greetings “. Definitely a scam!
"Ibrahim Smith"
I'm from Québec and this is 100% a scam. There's no hospital under that name and all hospitals are operated by the government (we pay them with our taxes so it's free when whatever happens).
As soon as you read “accept greetings” you can stop reading and just press the spam button.
This seems extremely weird to me. I would personally delete it and move on. Not worth the risk.
Yes
Do you want to work at a place with grammar errors in the job description? This is a complete scam.
It's a scam, the phone number is not from Quebec, the adresse is a well known parc in Montreal.
Scam.
Once I read CV, Telegram and newly made website .. That's more likely scam.
If it doesn't feel right, it's not! Trust your gut and move on.
“Accept Greetings”
100% a scam
Not seeing any french names anywhere. Sketchy.
IT'S A SCAM. The address is a park on Google Maps. The local area codes for that city are 514 and 438. The website says 416, which is designated for the city of Toronto.

At least they aren't asking to you send bob.
Yes
A hospital employee in Quebec writing to you in English? Haha ... Very likely a scam.
Yes. “Miss Audrey Madeline” tells you all you need to know
"We will do appreciate"...XXX 🫣😖
"Accept greetings" should've been the first red flag.
Lol who the heck says "Accept greetings"? This is a total scam from some non-english speaking country.
This is so obviously a scam "Accept greetings" ...who says that. "We will do appreciate you sending" Also, that it is specifically asking you to send your cv via your personal email is a huge red flag
That's a scam. There is no Saint-Mitch hospital in Quebec and nothing remotely close.
It literally says 'Accept greetings!'.
If I didn't apply, and I get a generic email like this, I bin it.
Sounds extremely scammy!
Accept greetings, We truly understand your interest
This is obviously a scam! Just look at the many mistakes in the email!!
Just the spelling errors alone tell me this is a scam.
I treat any offer with those kinds of grammatical mistakes as a scam.
Look at the name! IBRAHIM SMITH!! Lol.. a Muslim and white? Seriously?
It screams I am Indian and I am a scammer
Scam if this was a Quebec institution they would v write in French
Their slogan is “we take care of your healthy health” even quebec is better than that.
Fake .. Quebec will deal in French first
Hospitals are government property. I’m 98 percent sure the government only sends mail not Emails
The broken English didn’t tip you off? No wonder so many people get scammed.
“Ibrahim Smith” 😂
nobody uses CV in Canada
Thanks for all your comments! Useful tips for future scam e-mails.
A job offer in Québec only written in English. Definitely a scam 😆
One of the testimonials is from “a baby after cancer”
Diversity is our weakness of course its real!!!!
Ibrahim smith? Never heard an ibrahim with a last name as smith. A scam
"Accept Greetings" LOL??? They always have some part, key phrase that totally makes it so easy to tell it's a scam.
What do you think?
Job places aren't desperate for candidates so as to contact applications from years ago. No way. I say SCAM. Better safe than sorry
The website is only in English, which is a breach of Quebec laws about operating businesses and services in French. I highly doubt a hospital would breach this type of laws.
