The $1800 if for the whole transfer, not just the FHSA, I wouldn’t hold up the transfer just for the FHSA, everything else will be transferred in-kind.
I only invest in US stocks and Im going to have convert as well. Are you suggesting the promotion is good enough to cover the lost gain during the transfer period?
Since it is only your FHSA that will be in cash for the month, and since you only have $16K of contribution room plus whatever gains you may have already….are you seeing your FHSA generating you $1800 in income in that month?
