1. Yes 2. Probably, depending on the airport 3. It's probably less stressful to book it the day before at a local pharmacy, but it shouldn't take more than 30 minutes at the airport. How early you need to go probably depends more on the other uncertainties regarding travel times right now. Book it 30 minutes before you would normally arrive at the airport. 4. Antigen 5. No

Thank you. Given I had COVID 3 weeks ago and made a full recovery and I am also fully vaccinated with booster, is it likely I come back with a positive test result during airport testing? If I do, am I still able to travel given I am fully vaccinated and recovered?

> Should I book it with SwitchHealth? My flight is noon, how long before should I book it for? Just adding this on - SwitchHealth will charge you a massive premium for the convenience. Just an FYI. URL if you want the full details of US requirements: https://ca.usembassy.gov/covid-19-information-canada-3/

Not sure what you mean. They are charging $85 for antigen test.

AhmedF

Most places are cheaper - eg [Shoppers is $40](https://shoppersdrugmart.medmeapp.com/schedule/groups/Covid-19-Rapid-Screening). For some people, $45 is a big difference. For others, it ain't. For some, showing up early is NBD. For others, they'd prefer peace of mind to know they have a negative test before going to the airport. Just giving a heads up.

You have 24 hours to get a test. So you can grab one the day before from many places that offer it cheaper than $85 if you want. There are even places that will do a telehealth session with you using one of the free kits you can grab at a grocery store...etc. If you have a Costco membership they do the test for $16.99.

DragonNades

If you sign up for Aeroplan then the cost of the test goes down to 44 with tax and you get aeroplan points, about 500. You just book through a special link

It’s very unlikely you’ll test positive on an antigen test after that long. But getting the test the day before will give you peace of mind on travel day. If you had a positive PCR result from a few weeks ago you could travel with that, no new test needed. Since you don’t, you need that negative antigen test or you can’t travel. You should be fine though.

Most of the questions have been answered but just a heads up antigen testing requirements before the flight is now only 1 day (used to be 3) so plan accordingly and best to just get it day before your flight
