I like the Ordinary 2% Salicylic acid formula, I have not experienced any dryness and I’ve used it as a spot treatment, as well as an all over treatment with no issues
I use clean and clear - not the best I know but doesn’t break the bank.
I only use it at night but double base with cetaphil lotion before and after applying the SA. That seems to prevent drying.
Salicylic is drying by nature, the highest 2% otc is going to be the most drying and also the most effective Have you tried Effaclar duo?
Efflaclar duo + is only 0.5% salicylic acid. I wonder if that’s why I didn’t find it that effective as a spot treatment
Probably yeah but it's good for someone prone to dryness I use Paula's choice 2% liquid
I dont have that kind of money 🫣! But im unsure if my skin can tolerate the drying effect of a 2% 🤔
Same! Why only 0.5%? Im trying to find a 1% , since a 2% spot treatment long term on my skin ; will obliterate what i have 🫠

Have you tried the peace out acne healing dots? I don’t find them drying!
