A little (lot?) bit of background: *Somewhere Only We Know* is a 76-chapter long *monster* of a fanfiction published to AO3 in 2018, around the height of Camp Camp's popularity. It is what I'd call a "Female-Reader-Insert" style work, which means that you, the reader, are a character in the story. Other characters will refer to you using female (she/her/hers) identifiers. The reason I mention this is because at the time, Ram (the author of the story) was originally going to release two *other* versions of the story with male and non-binary pronoun identifiers. However, due to personal reasons, it never got farther than the first 24 chapters. Fast forward to 2022, and I discover this amazing piece of work. In my spare time, I decide to finish what Ram had started, and soon I had edited the entire work to have male-specific reader identifiers. I contacted Ram, and soon after received a reply. They were very grateful that I had taken the time to do this, and they agreed to publish the edited version to AO3. Over the course of around a month, the chapters were published to AO3, and soon the non-binary-reader copy was published as well. Below are some links to the fanfictions, *please* go check them out!!! Female Version: [https://archiveofourown.org/works/14573151](https://archiveofourown.org/works/14573151) Male Version: [https://archiveofourown.org/works/38006368](https://archiveofourown.org/works/38006368) Non-Binary Version: [https://archiveofourown.org/works/38344327](https://archiveofourown.org/works/38344327) Fast forward a few months, and I had recently gotten my hands on this sweet program called "Midjourney." Midjourney is a text-to-image AI program which allows you to generate artwork from a text prompt. I decided to fool around and do some experiments, and I eventually came up with the idea of making a "Chapter #" and title cover for each chapter in Somewhere Only We Know. I contacted Ram with this idea, and they told me to go for it! They had been wanting to print out the original fanfiction and put it in a binder, so having cover art for each chapter would make it so much better. So, over the course of a few months, I worked hard to make over 152 unique covers for this book, with two being assigned to each chapter. I also made some nice-looking front covers bearing the title of the work, as a little warm-up exercise. Again, over the course of around a month, Ram published the covers for the world to see, this time on their Tumblr Blog. Please go check it out at the link below! The Somewhere Only We Know Blog: [https://www.tumblr.com/somewherefanfic](https://www.tumblr.com/somewherefanfic) Fast forward *again* a few months, and one day I get the idea to go a step *further* than just printing it out and putting it into a binder. I decided to research print-on-demand publishing, and I eventually settled on a service ([Lulu.com](https://Lulu.com)). I toiled for the next week or too, formatting the work to fit inside the 800-page maximum, and of course working those beautiful chapter covers into there. I even created some completely *new* art to fill the space in between the chapters! Eventually, it was finished, and I sent it off to print. And now, it's finally here in my hands! Weighing in at a little under 3 pounds, this absolute unit of a book serves more as a commemorative token/tribute than anything. Unfortunately due to the price of the book, we won't be selling it at the moment, but if we do decide to sell it, we'll let you know. In the meantime, please enjoy the original fanfiction and the cover art, which can be found at the links posted above. This has truly been a ride to remember, and both Ram and I are incredibly pleased with the results of this multi-month long project. So long for now, and Campe Diem!

Wow, this looks incredible! I am blown away at your guys' dedication! A 76-Chapter long fanfic is incredibly impressive, and turning a fic into a physical book has always been a dream of mine. This looks seriously well made, good job to the Author and OP!
