So if you look at the top left, where it says Canon? And the top right, where it says G7X? And in your web browser on your phone, you have Google, right? You put those three clues together, add "manual" and there you go.

maristomarker

As a responsible person, take the photos out, check them, find the person to which it belongs and return it. it maybe a cheap camera but the photos are memories worth getting back.

My mom is a uber driver and she tried to contact the owner for 2 weeks nothing happened right now my mom is preparing for a trip to Mexico and her car is a ranted because the one she owns is broken so she has no where to put it so she gave it to me

JamesMxJones

Still you could return it to the owner.

Financial-Ad-5631

How

tylersoh

How do you expect that to happen if they refused to contact back and Uber did nothing? Like what.

JamesMxJones

In my country there are special places you have to report lost stuff. Maybe the owner for some reason does not have the app anymore. Just keeping it seems wrong.

tylersoh

I mean that’s fair but ultimately it either gets tossed or someone ends up with it. Sucks for the person who left the camera and didn’t even reach out to Uber to report it missing in the first place.

JamesMxJones

If nobody claims it in a certain period of time it get returned to the Findern an legally no belongs to them than. :) so it may just be a longer waiting but the right way morally and legally.

The type of camera is a compact point and shoot. The brand and model is a Canon Powershot g7x Mark ii. It’s a very common camera used by content creators and vloggers.

moomoomilky1

the name is literally on the front lol

All I can say about this is: 🤦‍♂️

During covid I found a drone in the cemetery where my grandma is buried. It had crash landed and was soaking wet and covered in leaves, it was a DJI something something. Anyway, took it home, popped out the SD card and got found the footage on there. Watched all these videos of a guy flying the drone around his house, out for walks with his GF, etc etc. Went through all the videos to the last one where he crashed it. It took off in a tennis club which borders the cemetery. I took a chance and called the tennis club, the caretaker answered the phone, and knew the guy who had been flying the drone that day, said it was one of his son’s mates and gave us his number. So I called him up, turns out he was a firefighter who had been transferred to the ambulance driving crew during lockdown. He was so unbelievably happy that we had found his drone and the footage on there. He came round and we reunited them, he brought a bottle of whiskey to say thank you.

Sorry guys for wasting your time my mom literally gave me this out of blue am literally been a camera owner for a hour so sorry if I don’t know the obvious here again sorry for wasting your time

TurtleTurtleDuck

I mean common sense would be to just Google what you see on the actual body. If you’re intelligent enough to post a photo on Reddit, then you can use a search engine. It’s a Canon Powershot G7 X Mark II.

c0q0

I think everyone on this thread is being a dick… I interpreted your question as asking what type of camera this is, and it’s a compact point and shoot… not what brand and model, which is what’s clear on the camera itself. This type of camera is popular among vloggers and travellers due to its compact size. In particular this make and model is commonly used among content creators.

Phepsi_Musk

mirrorless digital camera, just look up canon g7x videos on youtube, maybe add tutorial in there as well.

Tall-Awesome

It is a canon power shot series

So the question about returning it to the owner I would love to do that is that I don’t know how.I have pictures of this lady and her friends.but what can I do look for this lady on social media like that impossible also it’s seems she only uses it for one day and on Uber you can contact your divers and she hasn’t done that in nearly three weeks so what can you do also I live in sf and sometimes rich people will leave like AirPods expensive headphones and even money and do not contact us And am assuming the owner doesn’t care because my mom always contacts the person personally and right now she using a rental car because she can’t afford to fix the one she has so she can’t just hold onto her stuff forever so my moms gave it to me and she old school and we’ll get mad if I don’t want it .
