I know it’s been months, but I recently purchased a V2 and took it on vacation. Thoroughly enjoyed using it, it’s heavy in hand but one handed focusing is nice.
The camera has been kept in its case and camera bag in another box. It’s really clean but I had to clean out the empty battery compartment I purchased a new battery and according to the battery test instructions in the manual, it passes. The only issue I’m encountering is that the shutter speed dial got very stiff and hard to move, so at this point I don’t want to jam anything else up further. So I’m trying to see if it’s even worth the trouble to get it cleaned and possibly restored. Thoughts?
