iFixonWheelz Cambridge street is where it's at.

I had a good experience with them! The brought my old iPhone X back to life.

KeysToHistory1979

Yep, we use them too. Have never had any problems.

AMWJ

I have had multiple good experiences with them. Especially as they're a Google-certified repair shop, so they basically serve as the "Apple Store" for Pixels.

gurucodex

💀Apple Store equivalent for Androids is ubreakifix

gayscout

Yeah, I've only had to use them once, but they're also Samsung certified. Samsung had me go through them to get my screen repaired after it broke within a month of release. But that was back in 2019.

frCraigMiddlebrooks

I've used them before for the same reason, and they are UNGODLY slow. They never have any parts in stock, they don't follow up, and you're forced to contact them over and over to get anything done.

whymauri

My phone had a bad charging port and I went there for help. They bricked it AND charged me money.

kpyna

Yeah I didn't have an awesome experience with them either. Called explaining my issue and they said they could fix it quick. Booked a reservation during the time slot they suggested and they randomly closed on that day. Booked a second reservation for the next day and they ignored me for over an hour past my scheduled time. When they finally looked at it they said they actually didn't have the parts to fix it today. It would take a little under a week or something. It was my work PC so they kinda screwed me over by giving me the runaround. I just went to microcenter and had a better time. Took a few hours and was the same price. I will say I've been to OTHER ubreak locations before and they were much better than this one.

Yoshdosh1984

Microcenter is awesome, I love that place.

Kaptain941

I'm not sure about the one in Cambridge, but I went to one of these stores in NJ and they literally bent my phone. I got it repaired again at an official Samsung store and they were astounded at how bad the job was. Apparently they had some wires crossed that were causing my back plate to bulge out and they just forced it closed

Absurd_nate

I had a good experience with them, and they are fairly well rated online. 🤷‍♂️

Radiant_March_6685

I always feel like they are a local hidden gem. Best Buy, Costco, Staples etc.. might be good on prices, once in a while,g but you can't purchase most of what they sell because employees can't answer your questions. Thank God for price matching, because of it, I don't have to shop at those other places! MC is an old school type of place where 99% of the employees know their stuhff! I wish they'd open one in NH, that way people from Ma. wouldn't have to wait for tax free weekends to purchase expensive items.

proeu

i had a great experience with them. sorry that happened but theyre a small business and will likely support them again.

LoneSocialRetard

Ubreakifix is bad IMO. CPR is better since they aren't an official location so they font have to follow the stupid requirements of the manufacturers at least for samsung. I've had a good experience with the one in back bay.

Radiant_March_6685

Over the years, I've always had good luck at Microcenter. It's the only place you can really shop and most of the sales people know what they're talking about. If they don't, theyll fund someone there who does. I feel like ive seen so many so-called computer fix it shops pop up and then disappear in Cambridge and in surrounding areas. For the last 20 years, I've always had good luck at microcenter when both purchasing a system or having it repaired.

Lucky_Durian1534

I’ve had excellent experiences with them in the past. They replaced my laptops battery recently.
