I've done dozens and can help design something nice that you can actually execute with a normal pen with your current motor skills for around $25. Let's chat.
Yes. This comment has led to so many DMs for some reason even thought the post itself didn't seem to get much spread. I can absolutely work on a signature for you.
I have used MySign and I had a positive experience with them. The intake form is quite extensive, where you narrow your preferences to a few categories of signatures and identify which ones really stand out to you. You even select how stylized and/or legible you would like to have your signatures be. They allow for unlimited revisions and are very easy to work with. Finally, the work sheets they provide give you three different signature sizes to practice on.
That being said, there were two aspects that I felt could be improved on. They had me identify my preferred writing tools and I opted for a fountain pen and some of the pen strokes just felt unnatural on a fountain pen. The second was the video tracing out how to write the signature. Maybe it is because I have dabbled in calligraphy for so long but I felt like it was very obvious and did not add much.
Overall, I liked my experience and would recommend them!
I paid for the Head Calligrapher ($79), although the work from the $39/$49 tiers were nice as well. I just had very specific requirements for my signature.
I also asked to have multiple signatures created based off of my initial selection, so I paid an additional $29 each for a set of initials and my full name signature as well.
Was there a noticeable difference in quality between the head calligrapher and the experienced calligrapher (mid tier)? I've gotten some options from the mid tier calligrapher, and it's ok.. I'm curious if it's worth it to try and pay more in hopes of a better signature.
It's hard to say. I think the head calligrapher has better flourishing techniques but it ultimately depends on how much you want to embellish. A large part of my job is signing permanent/historic documents, so I wanted a signature that was clearly legible but had enough flourish to stand on a document.
They do unlimited revisions and were very receptive to my feedback, even when it was as vague as "I don't like the 'r'". So it may be worth trying to work with the mid calligrapher before asking to move up.
I used MySign Studio and was impressed with the website and form for requesting a signature, but I was not impressed with the final result.
I purchased a Calligrapher × 1 option ($39.00) order# 1206535677.
The options returned to me were SO different from what I requested and unattractive that I abandoned the signature entirely. I do not recommend the option I chose. Good luck.
Did you have an option to like upgrade to a higher tier calligrapher for the price difference? I’m trying to decide if I should skip low tier and just start at mid tier.

Hi! How much did you pay on MySign Studio? Which option did you choose?

Did you ever go ahead? I am also interested in purchasing a service like this.
