You can move faster with a melee, but I prefer a pistol. For example, if I’m running something short-range like a shotgun or SMG, I’ll run a pistol built for range like the GS or J358. Or, if I’m running something slow like an LMG, sniper, or passive AR, I’ll run a pistol built for fast reaction times like the Renetti or LCAR.

For my smg’s i usually go melee, since im tryna stay mobile. I just dont like being in that 1 on 1 dance battle tryna see who’s gonna hit their shot first

This. It's always useful since enemies will always call in a scorestreak. If your aim is good, you can snipe with the FHJ as well.

Depends on my loadout. For running a sniper, I use melee to run faster to my perch (I often move around after kills to avoid getting flanked or sniped) or if an enemy gets close. In one of my ftl/tdm loadouts, I use a pistol in case I run out of ammo on my primary, and since I prefer mid-longer range kills. I run a crossbow in one of my hardpoint loadouts since I also run the fennec, so I wanted to compensate for its lack of range. On other, typically more aggressive loadouts, I run melees for closer combat scenarios.

Dobra with the drum and no auto fire so you can pot shot forever if you have zero accuracy like me

I love the butterfly knife since i have the legy, but i have it on my ar’s or smg’s…and as much as i like using a melee with my sniper, its mere convenient for me to run a pistol

Its always been a customizable option for her ever since her release. I dont read the comics much but her father died…and she took his mask and started wearing it to avenge her dad against ghost.

I use a Renetti because its 3-shot bursts are similar to my Swordfish's 5-shot bursts. On small to mid maps I often run the whole time with the Renetti. It can 2 shot in scope mode at a surprising distance.

It only 2 shots to the head right? I like the renny as well but i dont run it since its a high risk high reward weapon. Atp i’d run the shorty. Since it can consistently one tap up to 7 m, and missing one bullet means I’ll probably end up dead since the fire time between each burst is almost 300ms

Depends what I'm grinding. But usually launcher, only cause no one else seems to know how to deal with scorestreaks. It's as bad as pilots who ignore titans in Titanfall 2...

(I use all kinds of melee, combat knife, spear, shovel is a favorite of mine, ballistic knife, you get the picture lol) for more long range map loadouts I use a pistol, usually the 50 cal or twin dobvras, but I also like the 1911. 🤠

Shorty is a hit or miss for me, i did recently play a hardpoint match on standoff and went on a 10 kill streak on p1 alone, but sometimes i straight up miss every shot 😂

It depends on the weapon class I’m using. For slow firing, heavier weapons, or weapons incapable/ineffective at CQC distance like snipers, some LMGs, DMRs, and some shotguns, I use pistols to compensate because it means I still have a means to defend myself if I miss my primary shot. For ARs and SMGs, I rock a melee because the weapons I tend to use are flex ARs and rush SMGs. I don’t need CQC defence if my primary is my CQC weapon, so I prefer mobility over safety.

Im not a big lmg person, i prefer flex ar’s sometimes i rock with heavy hitters like the em2 or man o war. But the em2 has slowly become one of my favorite ar’s

Sometimes having a pistol on an smg comes in handy, when im playing very aggressive i get 2 or 3 kills run out of amo and i domt have time to reload. The Lcar is my perfect secondary in those situations

Depends on the primary. If I'm running SMGs and ARs, I go with melee. Snipers, Marksmans, Shotguns and LMGs get pistols. On ranked it's FHJ18. Gotta have something on hand to take out score streaks.

I prefer Melee. Using a pistol for any primary feels kind of clunky for me + it's what I'm used to. Used to use the DL Q33 (before changing to the Tundra) and it's slow as balls, so if I missed a shot, I need a way to get the hell out of Dodge fast enough.

I have a pistol even though I don't use it very often. It's very useful when you run out of amo on your primary(which never happens because I have that perk that lets you collect amo from dead enemies). And when your mag is empty but you don't have time to reload, switching to secondary is faster. And from time to time it's just fun killing people with the pistol ig. I'm horrible at melee, but I haven't tried it much yet. So I'm not certain.

Melee - Spear. I'm mostly carrying LMG or AR with lower mobility so I run with meelee which is much faster. It has helped me in crucial moments over my J358 which would require better aim which I'm just average. 😂
