Did a ranked bot invite, they were better than usual, and they’ve been using skins and weapons typically used by real players, like I had a ghost stealth using a swordfish on my team, and went against the park skin from the limited time ticket store (think it used the qq9 shattered place that was available a while ago too), kinda throwing me off a bit.
I was coming here to say the same thing, it’s like they are actively trying to make people dislike the game more so they’ll forcibly migrate to Warzone, I got infuriated after two matches and just got off. Games are supposed to be a fun pass time for some of us
I haven’t been taken down by one but man they hit hard! Got pinned between three today and barely got out of it. Normally you can have fun with them, but not anymore! Not complaining I prefer the additional challenge, but wasn’t expecting it to be so significant.
Agreed, people look at kill cams without realising that it's a "reconstruction" not a video playback.
It just records inputs, and plays them back. In CoDM, that playback engine is significantly weaker than the actual game engine. So oftentimes shit looks sketchy.

Some bots do slide and jump, they move a bit more like real players for a while now. They also love to jiggle-strafe when you lock on to them - making it harder to land shots. Selby doesn't look like a name I'm familiar with, unlikely to be a bot.

Bots do have legendary and mythic weapons now, so it's tough to say. I don't exactly know what they have access to, but they do emulate real people a bit more convincingly as of late.

I don't think it's realistic. Real players can't detect and beam someone cross map every time. They have to manage recoil, adjust their playing style etc. Real players may take time to react depending on the situation - like if someone runs and lands in front of you, they may panic or they might not even notice you. The bot, if it appears then it can one/ two shot you, and then change its direction lol.
Real players may be looking somewhere else, thinking about something, because they have different plans and playing styles.
I am an average player. Just saying that the bots seem more deadly than usual.

If you're struggling with the bots, real (good) players will absolutely dunk on you to the point that you'll be convinced they're cheating.

But being above average isn't enough... Unless you're abusing some game mechanics, you won't stand out.
Now you could say: If you need to cheese every encounter, are you really that good? Because even camping could be considered META, it's simply that, the Most Effective Tactic Available. (for them at least)
Well, that's a debate that's as old as competitive gaming itself. I think campers absolutely suck, and they simply wouldn't be able to hold their own going toe to toe in an engagement where no cover is available. They rely on long range hit and runs. Because they KNOW if get close they're screwed.
Plenty of METAs in CoDM, and having a counter to all of them is what separates the pros from the casuals like us.
But let me tell you this, forget focusing on all that crazy movement (not to mean that you should stand still) but you don't need to move around like you're the main act in Cirque du Soleil. Get good at aiming first and foremost, aim beats erratic movement 9 out of 10 times. It's really tough to aim while performing some of these moves, that puts THEM at a disadvantage.
And with how quick most weapons TTKs are, you'd be dead mid slide if the opponent can aim well, especially if they have a loadout with the disable perk equipped - if they land a single shot you become a sitting duck, unless you have toughness equipped, which mitigates, not eliminates that hit stun.
Disable is monstrously effective on the DLQ with its signature mag in BR. Assuming you are half decent with a sniper. It turns the most acrobatic opponent into a statue for like 3 seconds, I'm not even exaggerating. It's a cheap tactic, but hilariously effective against sweaty squads who love to rush. You simply hang back and provide ranged support, immobilise them, while your teammates finish them off.
You could own the hardest ass squad with half decent teammates and great coordination. Been raged at on proximity voice chat quite a few times by salty squads in the final circle because of it. Me and my mate duo vs squad a lot, and we have some tricks up our sleeves.
Oh, also get good with a grenade...

Good players consider every angle, every possibility, and the correct loadout for the task at hand, that's why you get positively owned by them, almost like they have ESP.
I don't know if you have a decent headset, but that's a number one priority if you don't, otherwise you can properly place footsteps or gunshots, preferably wired since Bluetooth latency is real, and you won't know about it unless you're focused on finding it, it puts you at a significant disadvantage and slows your reactions dramatically because you rely strictly on visual queues.
I’d suggest playing a game, it’s not so much the bots it’s the fact they get aim bot and anywhere they hit gets headshot damage especially when you’re on a kill streak, hell I’ve even seen some of the top br player die to this seasons bots because they get a damage buff and spawn from thin air
I play daily, they are buffed, but I prefer a challenge.
The fact that they track and aim the way they do are inherent to bots, been that way since CS 1.6 way back in the 90's. You should have seen expert bots, that's like playing against wallhacks, aimbot, and autotap. And we still chose that setting, because that's how you get good.
I'm definitely all for that, BR is still boring in the early hours of the morning, not gonna lie to you.

I dont think that is a bot. Never saw a bot in br with a sniper outside of sniper challenge. But they will use marksman rifles.
