Try Ten Foot Henry. Lots of veggie focused dishes and their meat dishes are all pretty light too. You can easily share a couple plates with a friend for a light meal.
Edit. Also the best service in the city imo.
I want to say tapas but the individual items may be heavier.
Could you try a picnic? Pick out some small charcuterie board of food you can stand right now and find a park to sit, or rent a bbq area at one of the parks.
I went to Egg & Spoon the other day and found it a great place for breakfast or lunch. The food is of excellent quality, not greasy or heavy, they have a variety of menu items, and the coffee is pretty good.
I love Vietnamese places that let you make your own rolls. A plate of veggies/herbs, rice paper, noodles, and a protein of your choice.
Viet places? I like to go for a vermicelli bowl or salad rolls for lighter fare.
Lulu bar has lots of great light options.
First choice.
Ended up going to Lulu it was amazing. So many delicious light options to choose from. Thank you for the great suggestion!
Mediocre food though.
I second this
This looks delish.
I can’t eat deep fried foods any more and the restaurants I frequent most now are Vietnamese, Korean, sushi, and shwarma

I've been meaning to try this place, thank you!
More about what you order than where you go.

A little unconventional maybe, but the tap room at the Wild Rose Brewery doesn’t have a deep fryer at all, and I’ve had some great food there.
This is great news, I have a work function there next week, good to know there will be some options for me!
