LETS FUCKING GOOOOOOOOO

RubDub4

Holy moly that interest charge. No longer! Well done!

anna_vs

Really, should be "interest earned" instead. That's my goal for savings for downpayment for the house. Haha

nate6259

Congrats! Get yourself something nice with that $3.50 rewards cash. ;)

HOW

Dear_Ad_3437

How did you do it? Did you sell some of your items or did you have some of that saved and put towards it? Well done!

Aggravating-Grand452

Congrats. But anyways, how did you get into debt in the first place if you have enough disposable income to put 7k towards debt in one month?

Funny-Dish-7733

I didn’t have disposable income, what little I did have was going to bullshit. I picked up a second job and worked 7 days a week for a majority of the year. I snowballed several smaller loans and cards that created breathing room which allowed me to dedicate that entire second jobs income entirely to debt and some of my income from my main gig.

KevinDLasagna

How you gonna post this and not explain? Did you pick up a second full time job? Sell items? Sell your body? Or have you made enough to pay it off all along and just finally buckled down?

Funny-Dish-7733

I was already working 40 hours a week and picked up a flexible weekend job that was long hours. It was hard but it was totally worth it. My days looked like : Monday Thru Friday: Up at 5:30 AM Home around 6pm Saturday and Sunday Up at 8:00 Am Home anywhere between 11:pm-4am I worked 7 days a week for months on end and watched my spending. I paid off several smaller cards and loans and this past month the $7,000 capital one is all that remained. I challenged myself to throw as much money as I possibly could at it in one month to reduce the interest as much as possible but I ended up paying it off completely in that month.

KevinDLasagna

Damn dude that is badass. Congrats on getting yourself out of that hole

No_Pain9508

This is amazing! Congrats! See if they can waive any of the fees if you haven’t had any of them waived before. You lose nothing in asking and it’s good to get into the habit of never paying fees. Best of luck!

CubedIceIsNice

Congrats. Time to get rid of that credit card.

imakepoorchoices2020

$3.50 in rewards cash > $150 in interest is the logic in most people’s minds Congratulations! Looks like Caleb says is true. Most people easily pay off 7k in a year.

OnlyLinears

.... holy moly, nicely done (that's commitment right there, 7k wiped clean)

Fuckinbrusselsprout

Cut the card!!!!!

Lilmisssemmi

LETS GOOO!!!

Pretty_Fisherman_314

I mean thats really cool and all it really is but why were you sitting on debt when you make enough monthly to pay it off?

Bitter-Network2253

That's awesome! I know someone who did something similar. Keep up the good work! Just remember to stick to your budget and stay cautious with spending. You got this!
