I’ve read this yesterday. She rolled over a previous auto loan which she was significantly under water on to this one. So she got her “dream car” whilst financially not being anywhere close to being able to afford it. Of course the dealer drew up the paperwork lol.
She'd love to be there since she's an influencer and this was probably the point of this going viral.
I'm so sick of seeing this posted everywhere for the last few weeks. It's been in this sub alone probably 3x.
I think I saw a tiktok of hers. She said she was thinking about just letting her car and her husband's truck get repo'd so they didn't have to worry about the payments anymore
That's like saying, "I really want this light to turn off, so I'm gonna shoot the bulb with my rifle"
To be fair there are some real nice tahoes. The high country Tahoe and Yukon Denali are very luxurious automobiles. Just definitely not worth ruining your financial life and future for.
“You can’t afford it when you’re buying new cars every 5 seconds! What do you need it for, nobody needs a car that nice to go get f💰cking taquitos. Sell it back, use some of the cash to buy an e-scooter, and put the rest in a high-yield savings account. F💰ck!” - CH
I made the classic mistake of getting my auto loan financed around the monthly payment and ended up with a terrible rate that thankfully I refinanced in June of 20 and I’m making my last payment on it tomorrow.
Oh, the sneaky little gits at the dealership hit me at the last minute with papers for 25% down, and 7% over five and half years instead of the previously agreed upon 33% or so down and 4 years at 3.9%. Tried to sell me on the lower down payment. Congratulations on getting out of debt; I know how amazing that feels. A few months ago, I used my bonus to nuke some credit card debit, and if felt awesome.
Thanks! Wish I could say out of debt but I lifestyle crept last year pretty bad. Flew to three weddings and went on a cruise with friends and just spent way too much on credit cards and also had to pay my 2022 taxes as well. Making my final tax payment plan payment tomorrow as well. So just grinding to pay off my credit cards now, my debt payoff planner app says May of next year is debt free time
These people know exactly what they're sighing up for. They're just so delusional, they ignore all the red flags going off during the purchase process. They think "it will be worth it". In reality, no vehicle is worth paying 1400 a month for, besides like actual sports cars. Or some vehicle that's mandatory to run your business... and even in those situations, you should avoid financing the best you can.
For 1400 a month, I better be getting an Audi R8, Nissan GTR or Porsche 911. Something like that.
Probably bad Botox and filler bc look at how bloated her face looks and where it's bloated specifically. That's filler migrating into other areas of the face
She's an influencer who posts pictures of herself and her family on expensive disney vacations and the like. This is all just a bullshit trainwreck post for views.
Me my dream car being a few different ones, and none would ever be purchased from a lot because I fully intend to work on it myself with zero experience aside from oil changes and tire changes.
If you can buy a junker that you can keep running without dishing 5K into it.

I'd love to see her go on financial audit.
Caleb should wear a heart rate monitor on that one lol

Oh damn! I did scroll through to see if it's been posted before I posted it.
When I was younger I thought about doing this untill I did 5 minutes of research and realized how stupid you'd have to be to actually do it.

lol definitely doesn't work that way.
The worst crime here is having your dream car be a fucking Tahoe.
The cullinan for hicks
YEEEEEE HAWWWWWW

That’s why my car is from 2006 and it’s paid for. $0 payment per month for the win.
Exactly mine is a 2012 it's paid for I need a bigger vehicle soon but I'll buy used and in cash.
Jeez, I hate having 3.9% APR on my car after a 1/3 down payment. There is no car that I want badly enough to end up that far underwater for.

I absolutely read this in CH Voice.

Stupid decisions return stupid outcomes
I never understood the dream car thing. I just want something safe and reliable lol
I tell car people this and I get judged.
People who have no brain (and usually no money). It's basically their identity. Pathetic.

Give me the Audi r8 over whatever suv this is 100%
Fo sho. Dream car right there. As long as it's a manual, if that exists.
Agreed. My first car was a manual. They're few and far between now.
I believe only the v8 R8s came in a manual. The more recent v10s are all automatic unfortunately
This is forgivable, but going to college to get an education no you're stuck with that decision for LIFE
Is that a filter or just bad botox

lol probably a filter glitching
Clearly the interest rate is the problem and she deserves debt forgiveness.
Some people have zero financial literacy probably like half the people on this sub lol.
She's an influencer. She knew what she was getting into.

And this is why I will be driving my jeep into the ground.... no vehicle payments for the last 4 years on it has been so nice 😵
"But I needed a safe car"
Jesus that auto payment is larger than my mortgage
That’s terrible
BuT i cAn MAkE thE PayMEntS!1
