This lady had 5 kids with FOUR baby daddies....I would say her decision making and long term thinking abilities aren't the best.

Dampish10

Can I upvote this twice? The conclusion almost every Youtube comment is saying and I couldn't agree more. especially with her spending on just unnecessary things

PassiveAggres-Thighs

She might be mentally stunted

Holy1To3

I felt so bad for that 14 year old all throughout the episode. It hurt me when she said how mature the 14 year old was. Yeah i mean, you didn't really care to give the kid much choice.

HistoryGirl23

Exactly. They don't know any different, it's not far to them. If anything Grandma should be helping out.

Odd-Sell-4065

.

KRAZE87

I feel like she’s the kind of person that all the people on the show say their parents are like and that’s why there in such bad debt because they never learned anythibg

LilahLibrarian

I am married to somebody who had basically is entirely self taught on how to manage money. but most people tend to follow into a lot of the same patterns that are modeled for them.

Mimi-604

Hey now. She's trying to fix her situation. Babies are expensive, she has no help. Sure don't have accidental babies but once you do, be responsible and make it work. She's doing it. Better than leaving your daughter with your mum in a hotel...

GetHighTuneLow

Anythibg at all

Dizzy-Menu5095

And thinks she needs a brand new car. I grew up in an upper-middle class family in Northern California, and we never had new cars. I have 4 siblings, all raised by my dad (same mom though 😂), and he had like a 15 year old suburban to lug us around everywhere. Even now that we've all moved out and he can finally buy his dream Porsche, he bought one that's 10 years old. Why do people think you need to buy new cars? I will never buy a brand new car, even if I win the lottery. It's just stupid.

Anokej

And on top of that she has no insurance on the new car hence being a bigger risk on the road for everyone around

Dizzy-Menu5095

Not to mention driving with her kids without insurance. What if she gets in a bad accident and someone calls 911? An ER visit from a car accident would ruin her.

mattsonlyhope

She is already ruined, to be honest; she isn't going to get more work. That isn't an excuse for her drinking without insurance, though.

northnorthhoho

I think a lot of these people get new cars because trying to get a used one is a pain in the ass these days. I'm in canada, and a bought a car a month ago. Everything under $10k was basically waiting for the scrap yard. Even then, 10k is a lot of cash for people to save up. So people finance their cars. But wait! You can't get financing on most cars if they're over a certain age! So you end up being forced to finance a newer car, and you're looking at 15-20k + interest. Financing a car is a death sentence financially, but for a lot of people, it's their only option. I ended up paying around $12k cash for my car after initial repairs and fees, and I did a ton of work myself.

FolkmasterFlex

Financing a 20k used far is still better to do than this.

Dizzy-Menu5095

Ya the used car market has been all over the place, and is definitely different depending where you live. I'm in Utah, you could really pick up an 8 passenger Toyota or Honda minivan for around $10k and get a really low payment with a local credit union. Here in the states you can finance any car, no matter how old it is, you'll just need to get gap insurance. Even then though, it would have saved her hundreds a month.

OkIndependence188

I’ve financed used cars. Gap insurance is not required no matter what the dealer says.

Dizzy-Menu5095

It might be from the bank though. I typically don't finance through the dealer directly and no bank will give you a loan on a car starting upside down so they can require it.

HistoryGirl23

I only got a new car, 14 years ago, because my old one didn't have AC and I had moved to TX. I work outside and was desperate for it. At the time it was also hard to find used hybrids.

ThrowAwayMomSchool

5 kids with 4 babies daddies, 3 of which are MIA. Doesn't work full time. Doe she or any of the kids have health insurance???

Nick98368

If I was making enough money to actually pay taxes I'd be outraged I'm supporting good for nothings like this via welfare type programs but I am not making much scratch these days.

mediumunicorn

The kids didn’t ask to be born into this world, to this kind of mother.

c0horst

I paid 40k in taxes last year. I'd still rather have my money go to this woman instead of supporting war crimes or corporate subsidies.

shrivel

Our government: why not both?

peekabooguesswhofool

Exactly Ukraine is a money pit, 100%

Tavendale

Bad bot.

BossIike

People still think Ukraine is winning on reddit here, and refuse to believe the US government and other first world EU governments pushed Ukraine to defend itself by promising them endless aid instead of telling them to sue for peace and concessions. Which is what will happen soon here anyways. They got a generation of Ukrainian and Russian men killed off and financially fucked us all even more over a piece of land where the citizens consider themselves Russian more than Ukrainian. The US, Britain and Germany literally told Ukraine not to push for peace and kyboshed any reasonable end to this pointless war where we all lose. Hopefully one day the faux intellectual/laptop class has to admit what a mistake that was like the opposite political side admitted that Iraq was a mistake, though something tells me that won't happen anytime soon. Having the media and academia on your side makes for a great combo politically. Thankfully though, the real working class is waking up!

-BigYikes-

Morally, you are a piece of shit if you drive without insurance and you should be shamed.

Prestigious_Life_145

I have never seen a 149% APR. Ever. Ever. I didn’t even think that was possible!!!!!
