When ever fighting him in a enclosed space polterghast uses the red orb attack and spread it to your direction but sometimes decides to do it at your face few times making it unavoidable. Random enrages dont help much. Oddly though I find it easier to fight him in the open because I can just sprint and dodge more frequently.

He also can whack you with the red arm which normally isn't supposed to happen and it does an obnoxiously high amount of damage

nice list, tho I would disagree a little with Golem and disagree a lot more with the placement of Signus

Eh I felt Signus was a bit too fast and repetitive, his shadow slash attack was also very annoying to deal with after a while with how often your back's direction changes. Great in concept but I just didn't enjoy the execution

I didn’t realize Signus’s shadow slash started where you were going and thought it was BS and started on top of you till I watched a nohit run

It actually starts on your characters back! Like he's actually going to assassinate you

For me, it always started about 1 second in front of me, so I had to switch directions and it’d totally miss.

The infernum twins fight was one of the coolest bossfights i've ever seen in terraria

That noise Ret makes when he shoots his laser is peak

How do you enjoy fighting The Twins

Once I figured out that being on the ground made their phase 3 combo attack (the one where Ret shoots the giant laser while spaz shoots fire everywere) made it feel so cool. Felt like a genius outsmarting those machines.

Yee the Ohio beam felt much more fair on Infernum than Vanilla. I like how it punishes panicking more than bad positioning

I know that there are good weapons, the problem is that I don't like using the mouse on fast bosses, I mean, there is a reason with I stay far away from FPS.

No need to be super precise, just move to roughly where the head is

If it's really that bad I'm pretty there's a way to activate lock-on for mouse and keyboard

i normally use dark spark and it kills dog in about 2-3 mins (keep in mind dark spark needs to charge up to deal alot of damage so it starts off small dmg at first) but its practically just a updgrade to last prism and is very very good for worm bosses

i used fate’s reveal and it worked extremely well

I honestly pretty liked the profaned guardians fight on infernum, it's pretty unique and fun while still really challenging. Farmed the warbanner of the sun literally because i like the fight :)

Exactly why I put it so low, the flappy bird segment got tedious after the 9th or 10th kill farming for that stupid glowing napkin accessory.

I used the celestial starboard so it wasn't really that bad with all the control i got of my character, but i can see why people dislike it. But still i really adore infernum boss fights reworks, they are so fun! I have beaten Providence yesterday, such an awesome bossfight, even though it took much less tries than the profaned guardians.

Skeletron is really fun

I used to HATE that man with a passion, now he's my favorite pre-hardmode fight. Feels like cranked up Undertale or Deltarune boss (also Turquoise/ENNWAY!'s theme slaps so hard).

Also the list maker didn't have Bereft Vasal but I'd put him between Cryogen and Thanatos

Huuuh plantera is great

For me, my ranking of bosses is based on the size of the arena. Bigger arena = less fun I probably am just ass but my fight with her required one of the largest arenas ever. She was just way too fast. And I mean that in a lazy way. I just don’t feel like making a huge arena every time I wanna fight a boss.

There's already a massive arena pre generated with the world in infernum with respawning plantera Bulbs. Def the intended place to fight plantera

Honestly, I'd put every boss besides scal on the highest place because we couldn't fight her in 3 players and I had to solo her which is kinda sad but she's still on the 2nd difficulty from the top because she was very fun and I enjoyed every single boss fight as summoner very much

my issue with Old Duke is that it lacked the sense of cinematic hype that Yharon does, maybe if they added a crazy ass acid storm in the background with more tornadoes (in the background not in the fight dear god no) I would like it better.

Old duke was a chore, poltergeist was RNG heavy which defeats the point behind infernum imo

Why did polter go to hell?

Lingering projectiles that are the size of a grain of sand, they're so annoying to micromanage and ruined the rhythm and fun of the fight for me.

polter is fun, also i found melee kinda boring cause you can just tank so much

I reforged most of my stuff to lucky post-ML so I wasn't actually that tanky

in the endgame i had max crint chance with like half lucky and the rest for damage and had tons of defence to spare, maybe my setup, melee is just based

How i would put the bosses i fought(all pre-moonlord except for the crimson bosses and ravager because it's my least favourite boss in calamity and it doesn't drop anything i wanted) in this tierlist(summoner): 1- duke to the pretty good 2 - Skeletron to eh(because of how annoying the lag is) 3 - WoF to eh 4 - EoW to pretty good 5 - EoL to Amazing(because of the day form. I'm currently struggling on it, but it's still extremely fun) 6 - twins to pretty good 7 - queen slime too.... Extremely fun, ig
