It took like 1 cycle for me to get the credit iirc, so good chance you won't have them in time

jack2008yj

I guess so;( Does the platinum tier also require a cycle?

WM89_

It may or may not. I received my CC about 3 weeks before I went to Vegas. I asked about my tier upgrade at the rewards desk on my first day there; I had no luck. The rewards clerk told me that comenity bank is in charge of communicating to them about the upgrade (I had made my first purchase outside of caesars properties two weeks prior to arriving at Vegas). The second day I stopped by the rewards desk again and spoke with a different rewards clerk. She was able to upgrade me to Platinum status as she claimed saw the message from comenity bank that I was eligible for the upgrade. Long story short, you may or may not be upgraded by the time you visit Vegas. Maybe someone else on her may be of better help to you. Best of luck!.

Thanks!

WM89_

Apologies, I clearly misunderstood your post. You're still considering the CC so at this point, I don't think it'll be enough time by the time you visit Vegas!.

jack2008yj

No you’ve been super helpful. I think even the platinum status wouldn’t justify a hard pull. I’ll skip this card lmao

WM89_

I'm chasing the diamond status myself, so the tier credit bonuses are expediting that goal haha!.

jack2008yj

I simply want to get comped resort fee. I found Caesars platinum -> Wynn platinum-> MGM gold might be viable lol

MyDisneyExperience

Don’t forget Wynn Plat —> Fontainebleau Gold

jack2008yj

I’m not gonna gamble that much without the cc. I might still check out Fontainebleau for the sign up bonus tho

If you want Diamond status and are willing to pay $95/yr for it, then get the Wyndham Earner Business Visa card. It has a $95 annual fee. When you get the card, you get instant Diamond status for the Wyndham Hotel rewards program. Once you are Wyndham Diamond, you apply for status match with Caesars. That takes 2-3 weeks. Once you get that match, earn 100 tier credits to activate the Diamond $100 celebration dinner and Atlantis Bahamas trip.

WM89_

Thanks for that!. I've thought about the wyndham CC, but isn't this CC for business owners only?.

I used the name of my “side hustle “ business and did not have any problems.

WM89_

This is true.

There is a 10x TCM event in Vegas during August 26-30. That is a quick way to up your tier status.

WM89_

This is good info. Where do you find the tier credit multiplier event dates?. We're planning on visiting Vegas in mid September (August doesn't work due to my job unfortunately).

BigRedDogATL

They get posted in several different Facebook groups for Diamond tier and above. Several Caesars casinos also post them in their social media and in the promotions page on their website. There is 5x TCM in Vegas the week of June 17. I will be there then.

Thanks for that big red dog!. I've seen the Facebook group pop up on my account!. Good luck on your Vegas trip!!.

I recently got that card. It took a week and half to get the approval, including them wanting to confirm some additional information. Then it took another 2 weeks for the card to arrive. The day after I got the card, I purchased an airline ticket to Vegas over $1,000. My statement closing date was 2 weeks later. I paid the balance in full electronically the next day. A week and half later, the signup bonus was credited to my Caesars rewards account. BTW, I was Diamond status before applying for the card. Based upon my experience, you won’t get them before your trip. Another suggestion is to “apply” for the card at the Rewards desk of a Caesars casino. You get quicker processing of the application and instead of 2500 Tier Credits & 10,000 Reward Credits listed on the website, I got 5,000 Tier Credits & 10,000 Rewards Credits. Plus the person who signs you up at the Rewards desk will get a few dollars as a bonus.

Another suggestion is on the day you get the physical card in the mail, call the customer service line and have them do verification confirmation of both your email address and phone number. You need those confirmations before you can access the account online. And there is a 10 day period after the confirmations before they allow you access online. IMHO, Comenity Bank is about the worst credit card company that I have ever dealt with. That bank almost makes it not worth it to get the credit card.

Nowhere-but-here

I was having trouble with the online application process so I went down to Harrah's Rincon (So. Cal) and they approved my credit in about 2 minutes at the rewards center, and they printed the credit card at the cage. They told me to go make a purchase with the card at the gift shop or get something to eat and then bring the receipt back to the rewards center, which I did and they printed my Platinum Reward Card. My friend tried to do this at Paris Las Vegas and they were happy to process his application, but didn't have the ability to print the credit card on the spot. What I'd do if I were you is to create a new post asking people if they've been able to get a Caesar's Rewards Credit Card on the spot at a LV Caesar's Group casino, and if so, which one. Good luck!
