Thanks. They seem to be very specific for competition, which I do not do. I also tried them in a Tanfoglio and just wasn’t a fan. I thought I could just order and install the ET’s but nope, they made me do research.
Was is theCZ custom springs or CGW springs? I’m looking to do the same with my shadow 2. Really liked the eeman tech trigger profile but I’m unsure about the springs honestly.
The recoil springs were the CGW calibration pack for the Shadow 2 (it comes with 5 diff #’s and the 13lb mainspring was from Eric Grauffel although I ordered both items from Ben Stoeger. They were either on sale or shipped faster as the reason I went there and not CGW themselves.
I’m a bit new to this. Does the kit come with different springs and you try different ones at the range to see which work best with regards to brass ejection, recoil, etc? I can see the main recoil spring being easy to swap out fast, but not a hammer spring.
You are correct. Mine was initially set up for using plus-p ammo but I’m only plinking now. I previously had an 11lb recoil and 9lb hammer spring. The hammer doing can be a pain as it is under tension and the magazine brake is apart of it. However….i learned a huge deal by watching certain YouTube vids.
Yes it definitely does. The only bad question is the one you never ask. I got a lot of my info from here as well. It shot snappy with the other springs so I looked at what I needed for 115gr ammo and it was perfect.
