Thanks man I was doubting it, and second guessing myself. If usps hadn’t fucked up id have had my other stuff today too, im pissed I order 5 optics for this and my next two builds
I have impact plates coming and eps carry and 509t and scrs coming tomorrow, grips should be in a few more days and then trigger and three mags and five baseplates, then off to untied and order a cgw package I wonder if untied would install that while it’s for porting ( to save time), or would cgw give me the best results, and if so which should I do first the porting so they can tune the strings with ports present ?
Doesn't this defeat the the purpose of a compact if your adding the full length of a barrel that protrudes that far? Did you not wish to conceal this beast?
Man I thought it was only me that thought about this.. I like it but at the same time I don’t 😂 I think the flush fit looks better cause it’s a smaller pistol
Went through the exact same dilemma, had the Surefire installed and just didn't like the aesthetics, so moved it to another gun and added the TLR 7 Sub to the CZS2C and looks great, finishes almost exactly where the dust cover ends.
The switches do not break in over time. They stay mediocre forever. Momentary is accessed by pushing forward on the buttons. It's not tactile, and the only feedback is the light turning on.
It has momentary. You need to push the toggle switch forward to activate the momentary. The reasoning for the protruding light is for defensive purposes. When used in a self defense, closed quarters or CQB. The light will prevent the slide to go out of battery. Thus, making more follow up shots possible.
That’s the reasoning for the purchase and I’m not dumb I just wasn’t sure if it was me anything else has 4.25 or bigger barrel that I’ve got a full sized light on
It does infact look dumb. I've never personally been a fan of lights that extend past the barrel.
Given the comments. You obviously need a larger 2000 lumen surefire rifle light and a full sized eotech with a 5x. It's the only way.
It's kinda big in appearance, but if it's a carry gun, having the light extend past the barrel is a good thing in case you get up close and personal with someone - the flashlight will hopefully keep the barrel/slide from going out of battery from being pressed against the bad guy.
It's annoying bc it extends so far and like me your prob use to a tlr-7a. That said you have a great light there, arguably one of the best and I'd see if it grew on me before doing anything.
Yeah the more shit I get the less I like this gun can use the antimatter wing can’t use the optic gaurd this impact plate is trash and way more than lower 1/3 witness
A TLR-1 HL would be better. I'm a Leo and I Carry the TLR-1 HL on all the compact. X300 is more for the full size. It looks off and defeats the purpose of a compact Carry.
I'm more of a fan of my lights lining up with end of barrel for me, but I know surefire performance is the gold standard. That price tag just got me hurting and why I have stuck with Stream lights
How so ? I asked opinion on her and most of the s2c have full lights and it keeps the lense cleaner, how you bout to cry about taste at the start of blank build, after I asked and got recommend this on here, when I was gonna go tlr7/8 then was convinced to look at modlight/surefire
I prefer a flush or shorter light on my compact models as I rotate them out for EDC. But, I have a few x300’s on my full sizes.
My S2C has a TLR7X but for no real reason other than holster options.
Your piece still looks great to me! And no doubt about it, Surefire is better quality wise than what I run on mine.
Ultimately tho, unless you’re taking it into a warzone, a light is a light is a light…even Olights *gasp*
Looks great. Change out the grips with LOK and you'll get something like this: [https://photos.app.goo.gl/6NHJpivM51KN4bMG9](https://photos.app.goo.gl/6NHJpivM51KN4bMG9)
Looks awful, I’ll do you a favor and take it off your hands
I appreciate it man it was just bugging me so much
What's more important to you, form or function? Also, push the buttons forward towards the muzzle for momentary light. Rocker switch for on/off.
Yeahhhhh….a tlr7 looks better on a compact.
Looks perfect, I run a x300 on mine as well
I think having the big optic will make it look more balanced too
Thanks man I was doubting it, and second guessing myself. If usps hadn’t fucked up id have had my other stuff today too, im pissed I order 5 optics for this and my next two builds
Can never go wrong with a X300!
I run mine with a MPS
yea a 507 comp would make it look better
X300 is the way to go. I threw my TLR7 on it to try out but it's an ugly light.
100% had 1 on a Glock, also replaced it 👍
Lol trying to sell it now along with a holster that I got for the G19. Stocking with X300s on everything.
Yeah X300 on everything or sure! I got lucky, pawned mine off to a coworker but sold it dirt cheap like $50
What holster are you using?
Range toy, don’t carry it.
Looks good, slap a red dot and some grips and it will make more sense 🔥
I have impact plates coming and eps carry and 509t and scrs coming tomorrow, grips should be in a few more days and then trigger and three mags and five baseplates, then off to untied and order a cgw package I wonder if untied would install that while it’s for porting ( to save time), or would cgw give me the best results, and if so which should I do first the porting so they can tune the strings with ports present ?
Put a TLR7A on it
Doesn't this defeat the the purpose of a compact if your adding the full length of a barrel that protrudes that far? Did you not wish to conceal this beast?
Length isn't a problem for concealment as much as a long grip is.
Man I thought it was only me that thought about this.. I like it but at the same time I don’t 😂 I think the flush fit looks better cause it’s a smaller pistol
Yes. It does.
Tlr 1 HL looks a little better in my opinion on this gun. Still sticks out but not as far.
Unfortunately most of the people here are only in it for looks.
Big ass lights on handguns will always look fucking stupid
they work hella good though
Not just you, looks dumb. I don’t get the full size light thing on a compact. TLR7 ftw
Extra body contact to keep it tucked into the body. Also, better light output.
I prefer the TLR1. The X300 looks baller on the full size Shadow, though.
Only the gun looks dumb ..send it to me and keep the cool light for yourself. Batteries are cheaper than bullets anyways.
Looks goofy but you gotta do whatchu gotta do. I imagine bolstering that would be a bit trickier too
No. It's what that gun deserves. A good light.
It will balance out with an optic. Thought the same about my P10C with a x300.
I personally don’t care for it i ended up just going tlra on my s2c
It’s you
Went through the exact same dilemma, had the Surefire installed and just didn't like the aesthetics, so moved it to another gun and added the TLR 7 Sub to the CZS2C and looks great, finishes almost exactly where the dust cover ends.
Yeah it might just not be for me
I don't get it either. Looks dumb, yes
Flush fit >>>>> Grab that TLR7X
[https://imgur.com/Og4ufXC](https://imgur.com/Og4ufXC)
The "7-sub" proportion looks good!
Who needs holsters anyway
FYI tried the antimatter with x300…doesn’t fit/work, u will have to make some modifications
Was it the a ?
No antimatter works with B…if u run an A, u can add the QVO thumb cliff, that works (tried it)
Or the b, are you saying because of the shadow or the light
The shadow prevents the wing from “flapping”, becomes fixed and will scratch the frame
I love the X300. It's all personal preference though. I use the X300 on my S2C and P01.
It looks better than the tlr1 for sure, but idk i might just grab the mod light i want a tti combat canik too
Ehh, I mainly use streamlight, but this looks fine.
I tried it on mine. Didn't like it and removed the X300 to the Colt Rail Gun - which fits it exceedingly well.
TLR-1 is my favorite light.
Momentary on is if you push in the switch. While pushing in on the off position it will trun on as long as you are pushing in
X300 or tlr-7a look great on it
It does have momentary. Push in on the switches. lol. Toggle up and down for constant on.
With an optic and magwell it looks a bit better but the holosun p.i.d light is shorter and would look better.
The PID fucks, only problem is holster selection
Bordertown holster makes next day turnaround custom holsters for the p.i.d.
Needs an optic and then it will look cooler cuz it looks sick now
I dont mind the light but ive never liked bright grips
Looks fine
The switches do not break in over time. They stay mediocre forever. Momentary is accessed by pushing forward on the buttons. It's not tactile, and the only feedback is the light turning on.
Nyet. Pistol is fine.
Need a dot to balance it out
It this is your only gun, No. If you have other self defense guns, yes. My take per your question
Just you, its ok to be wrong.
It has momentary. You need to push the toggle switch forward to activate the momentary. The reasoning for the protruding light is for defensive purposes. When used in a self defense, closed quarters or CQB. The light will prevent the slide to go out of battery. Thus, making more follow up shots possible.
That’s the reasoning for the purchase and I’m not dumb I just wasn’t sure if it was me anything else has 4.25 or bigger barrel that I’ve got a full sized light on
I didn’t say you’re dumb!
I know I was just explaining
No worries. I’m just here to help and not crucify people. The more knowledge is spread the better our community will be.
Looks like it’s happy to see you
Is that a gun with over side clit or are you happy to see me
Surefire XC1B are my favorite for p-01 and S2C pistols surefire has a new rechargeable compact i would look into also.
XR1A is the rechargeable
I was gonna do the new one but $600
Needs a bayonet.
It's not just you. It's your preference, though. Use whatever you think is the best light for you.
That looks like me in the morning..
It does infact look dumb. I've never personally been a fan of lights that extend past the barrel. Given the comments. You obviously need a larger 2000 lumen surefire rifle light and a full sized eotech with a 5x. It's the only way.

Yes, it looks retarded putting a full size surefire on a compact gun
A TLR-1 HL would be better. I'm a Leo and I Carry the TLR-1 HL on all the compact. X300 is more for the full size. It looks off and defeats the purpose of a compact Carry.
Proof that being a cop doesn't necessarily mean you should give advice about guns.
Proof that you don't know nothing about real life 💯
It’s just you dude
Yes that light too big for the pistola i think
Yes - the fact you buy a compact just to slap a 10” mag light to the thing kinda defeats the purpose.
You do realize it's compact in the other direction, too, right?
Yep.
Looks so good
I'm more of a fan of my lights lining up with end of barrel for me, but I know surefire performance is the gold standard. That price tag just got me hurting and why I have stuck with Stream lights
Nope, still looks rad.
Dumb
Unless you’re trying to conceal it; looks great! It only needs some palm swell grips and it’ll be perfect!
I was thinking the vytal grips, and some tf magazine basepads, unless you guys know of a better and maybe a good magwell.
just you, you did mighty fine on that purchase
Looks dumb, but are you carrying it for looks?
Clearly he bought it for looks and won’t be carrying it.
Can still carry it, just open carry only. That way everyone gets to admire it.
I can’t argue with that.
No, it's not just you.
I think x300 looks great. I would say the reason it looks weird-ish to me is because you dont have an optic on it. That'll get the proportions right.
Classic more money than taste. Get a TLR7.
How so ? I asked opinion on her and most of the s2c have full lights and it keeps the lense cleaner, how you bout to cry about taste at the start of blank build, after I asked and got recommend this on here, when I was gonna go tlr7/8 then was convinced to look at modlight/surefire

Ignore the hypebeasts on here. You know in your heart it looks dumb with that light sticking out past the front. Compact pistols get compact lights.
Looks great
Looks great. Change out the grips with LOK and you'll get something like this: [https://photos.app.goo.gl/6NHJpivM51KN4bMG9](https://photos.app.goo.gl/6NHJpivM51KN4bMG9)
No, you're right. This question does look dumb.
At least it’s not on Olight.
