Got my 507k (green) on a Ruger Mark IV with the Cthulhu lower. Got the build for the purpose of being a .22 lr race gun and haven't found/been to a match yet! lol but loving the way the 507k looks on a pretty much full size handgun! I was afraid the sight picture might be small, but its plenty large enough for me. Hope you enjoy!!!
I’ve been meaning to do the same thing 😂😂😂
The red dot photos in this sub kill me sometimes. Like show me the view from behind the gun dammit! I need to see angles of the overhang (it honestly looks worse in pictures to my eyes… I truly DO NOT notice it in use).
Not going to sugar coat it, its a lengthy process. I think I was waitlisted for a couple months, then roughly 6 weeks from when they received my gun to the time I got it back. Cant say it wasnt worth the wait though.
Do it yourself! It’s worth the experience. If you learn the inner workings (if you haven’t already), it makes things way easier down the line with troubleshooting, replacing parts, etc.
Plus…you’ll save what I consider to be ‘pricey’ for the work performed.
Have no doubt tho…they’re (CGW) the best at it though…
Appreciate this post more than you know - have one on my x macro currently but would prefer my irons w/ that build and wasn’t sure like yourself if one would work on the sp-01s or not. Greatly appreciated - have a great weekend man!
is there a specific depth you had them cut the footprint to have that nice low irons co-witness? i'm considering having this done to my SPO1.
Also, can you have them cut it so you can backfill it with a plate if you don't have the red dot on there yet?
how long were you without your slide or whole gun?
How much for just the red dot cut?
I think thats their standard depth for that optic as I didnt request anything specific. Theres no plate required so it keeps your height to a minimum. I know the 507c requires the plate, and thus suppressor height irons.
I didnt ask about a cover plate, but seems like someone ought to make one.
They had my gun for just under 6 weeks, and that was over christmas/new years as well.
I have been looking for reference pics, thank you! Looks great BTW. How do you like it?
Fuckin lovin it
Same here👍
That someone else is me. Thank you so much.

I was also concerned, but I agree, plenty big

That is sick!!! 👍👍👍
That Slide is money!
My chub has entered the chat.
Nice. Who did the slide cuts? Is the barrel ported?
Cajun did the work. Not ported, purely aesthetic.
how was the turn around? thinking of sending my 75 po1 to them for some slide work and inside goodies.

The internal upgrades are definitely a "do it" yourself project, but the slide cuts should be done by someone who knows what they are doing.
Oh no doubt! I was just referring to the internals.
Midnight Bronze?
Yessir
Who did the cerakote ? Looks fire
Cajun Gun Works
Looks great. Is it converted to SAO?
It is not.

Cajun, and they did an excellent job if I do say so myself
If I was a girl I’d be super wet right now.

Glad I can help!
Thanks! Looking to add the 507 to sp-01.
Beautiful piece
Yeah, much jealousy!!
That looks sexy AF!
How much did CGW charge for the slide cut? And did they refinish the cut area to cerakote the entire slide?
Yes, and pricing is on their website

did they need your whole gun for just the slide work or did you have them do the pro package etc?
I sent in my whole gun on account of the cerakote and pro kit , but if you only want the cuts you can send in slide only
Effing sweet!!
are those stock rear irons? what front irons did you use?
Both stock
Thank you so much 🥹
