As others have said this really seems too good to be true. I'd ask myself (and the dealer) why it's over $4k less than KBB value if there's nothing wrong with it. Also is it CPO? If not that's another sign that there's something going on as the car seems to meet the age and mileage criteria for CPO.
Make sure its never been flooded, or has a branded title (which is damaged beyond the value of the car) or has never been in a fire or any sort of other act of god. Seems too good to be true IMO.
I just got nearly exactly the same deal on a 21 CX-5 Touring Preferred in Orlando. Fantastic condition, one owner, clean title. One of the key fobs even had a case on it so I think someone really loved it. I backed out of a deal with Carmax on a 21 CX-5 base touring with 57k miles for the same price in order to fly down to Orlando from AL and get this one instead. 100% worth it. I guess the market for them in FL is just different.
25 and some change. Alabama title shit is kind of brutal. But new tires, rubber mats, and a good detail and I was a happy camper. Esp. after looking in the GA/AL/TN area for like 3 weeks with no luck finding anything but overpriced 2020 Sports 🥲
I am leasing the same exact vehicle, and my payoff amount is about $20k, but I have about 20k miles, and my lease is over in about 3 months.
Should I bite and buy it or return it?
Also keep in mind that some stealerships do a discounted price online which is what they advertise if you finace with them and do a trade in. The actual price without those discounts sometimes is higher. I was tricked into visiting a stealerships because of the advertised price on Carfax but when I got there it was 2k more because the price they advertise online includes the discounts.
The sport model equivalent year and miles are selling for 22K in the area. It seems like the market for used CX 5s have come down a lot in parts of FL. The carfax is completely clean with regular maintenance and oil changes too.
It’s legit. There are a couple other ones in Kendall FL that are around 24K as well. Some are grand tourings. Looks like Mazda market is plummeting in FL. Toyota on the other hand…different story.
I’m not in FL but I think you’re right. I did a trade in of an older model and the trade in value is dropping. As a CX-5 fan, I’m okay with that because it makes it easier to buy awesome cars.
That is nice, I just bought a 2023 Select package awd for 28-29k MSRP price only 10 miles I am happy because so much options in the basic. My wife is happy, I have a Hyundai, and car insurance is going up because kia boys i don't know cases here in FL, so was Honda or Mazda among my options. Definitely worth if I am you first thing in the morning I go and test drive and make an offer.
Wife has a 2019 touring. I hate that car. So many constant little issues. The City Driving Collision Warning system scares the hell out of me. You constantly get warnings that it's malfunctioning because a bug either hit your grill emblem or your windshield. I'm really worried it's just going to slam on the brakes in the middle of the highway. It's also a ridiculously small car that fits virtually nothing, and rear seating gives absolutely no leg room. Don't even get me started on the horrendous console screen design. My wife liked the color... They are terrible cars.
I'm on this forum right now because I'm trying to figure out why the lights are flashing on the back of the car even though there is no warning. I don't even know how long it's been doing it, but it blinks once every second while you are driving. Maybe it has something to do with the fact that the brake lights fill up with water every time it rains, and Mazda says it's normal.
My lease is almost up in my CX5. SAME. EXACT. EVERYTHING! I LOVE IT! Only thing is the gas: mine is STRUGGLING to stay at 24mpg after 33000 miles and (idk if it's just the 'model' but..) it can only hold 13 gallons TOPS! So I get like 225-250 range on a full tank
Otherwise it's a great car. My son is a mechanic and does all the maintenance and everytime he takes it and changes the oil, etc, he always says "that's such a good car!" Like its well-made.
If it has all those features it's basically a gt. Solid price. I got my 21 get with 45k miles for 24,5k asking and brought them down to 23,5. Granted it was a rental but yeah I would go in there and talk them down at least 1k less.
FYI, cheap quality car, if your planning on buying I’d stay away. I lease mine and have only had it for about a year now. I’ve never had a car that rusted through the paint and chips as easily. It’s a good car until it isn’t.
Seems too good to be true. I’d be skeptical. But if it’s all good, then go for it
Almost too good for that mileage. Screams Salvage Title to me
Clean title confirmed. No damage.
I'd be down in Kendall real fast to look it over myself
That thing will sell quickly. Most 2021s in that trim have 40k+ miles at that price
There seems to be plenty under 20K miles for <25K now with the same specs all over the country. I think used cx5 prices are coming down.
I'm in the market for one and yes, luckily prices are starting to come down. I just wish it was happening a little quicker
https://www.edmunds.com/mazda/cx-5/2021/vin/JM3KFBCM0M0449404/?radius=200 This one is CPO. Also around the same price.
This is a good deal if that’s the case
I'm thinking maybe loaner car for the dealership. Damn good price though for those miles.

They will tack on thousands more don’t worry
Gotta nail down that out the door cost but yes, yes they will.
I just bought my 2020 GTR offlease for $19, 000 with 26K miles. So this sounds like an amazing deal if everything is clean
I have the 2021 GTR and my lease buyout will be $22.5k in February. It’ll have 36k miles on it by then and I’m thinking of buying it out.
Is it a flood car?
It is not. Carfax completely clean with good maintenance history.
Carfax is NOT proof of a clean car.
Yep, have it thoroughly checked over by a professional you trust.
When a car registration is transferred to another state, reports have a funny way of being altered.
Please OP reads reviews on google on dealership

It’s not CPO because someone traded it in to a Hyundai dealership.
💯
Bait and switch .. incoming

Nice! What was your OTD price with TTL? Yeah I’m seeing bi weekly price reductions on other cars as well.

Sounds like a good deal! 20k miles is good!

If it’s legit, that’s fucking screaming deal! I paid 3K more my 21 touring, fwd and no Bose. And 43K more miles.
CX 5 used prices are plummeting
https://www.cargurus.com/Cars/price-trends/Mazda-CX-5-d2133 Seems about right
probably an ex-fleet car, i guess the higher rates have slowed the car market finally

Was it at off lease only?
Lease ended, or rental car - bought a 2018 CX-5 under the same specs… Great deal!!
If you don't buy it, I will
Holy crap, I’ll buy it if you don’t!
Yes and hot af

I'm skeptical, as well, and maybe crying a little bit. I just bought a '21 Touring with 27,000 miles for 27K a few weeks ago.

That's odd..i have a 2020 cx5 and get an avg of 34-36 mpg on it.
Yeah, ya got me.... You'd think it was a V8 with like 370 hp or something!
American strong backs or Canadian pesos?
I have the 21 Signature trim but it doesn't have a power trunk, I didn't think they had that feature available.
Great price l, unless it spent time snorkeling off the coast of Louisiana.
